Agree. We took chauffeur to Aberdeen from Glasgow and were only charged for the miles over the 60 free :)

As an aviation geek, I loved this video. Yes, business is worth the extra cost, and the A380 is the best aircraft to fly on.

As someone who frequently travels internationally, I absolutely agree that the premium cabins are worth it. From Australia it’s a minimum of 21 hours to Europe, so you really need to be able to sleep. I’m like you with the cankles 😂and I just can’t sleep sitting up. I recently flew Emirates business from Rome to Brisbane and it was pretty good. I love to try different airlines and different planes, A380 is my favourite too!

It was so wonderful to see sweet little Edwina at the end of your video. She would have missed her mummy very much. Thank you for sharing this with us lovely Dayle. I can see why you do need to travel this way on long flights. It would be terrible in economy. I would come off the plane looking like a huge ballon from all the swelling. 🤣🤣Much love. Jenni. XX

That looked very relaxing, I've only travelled economy but I select a window seat on the A380s as there is some extra room between the seat and the window, my only issue is that my butt hurts after 20 hours.😫

Looks like an enjoyable flight. Thanks for sharing this with us. Aww, Baron always sits in my suitcase when I'm packing to leave. Poor kid. We took Istanbul Air to Italy and back, cattle class, and we said never again. But when it comes down to it, I'm not sure the price of the upgrade would be worth it to us (it depends). Sitting in economy for that long was super uncomfortable but I'd probably rather have the money available to use at our destination, if I had to choose. Someday, though...

Yeah I think if it were just 12 hrs flying during the day we would be ok as we often drive that long… but with jet lag and needing to sleep… changes a lot of things.

Totally worth it. I travelled to Europe with Qatar business class. The QSuite is amazing! Going again next month with Emirates. Looking forward to the chauffeur drive to the airport…..

Oh this was wonderful Dayle! I’ve been watching travel videos of first class and business on various airlines and Emirates seems one of the best! Do you think upgrading to first class from business is worth the price for a long trip? By the way, I loved seeing Edwina at the end ❤️❤️❤️❤️

A little travel hack- my hubby and I travel a lot and I have top tier status on American and he does on delta. Traveling overseas, I buy premium economy or delta comfort. We are always offered an upgrade to first class in the month prior to travel, usually for around $400-$700 per ticket. This summer we did that for our round trip to Tel Aviv and saved $5000/ticket and I did that for San Antonio to london, and paris to sa. Antonio, each way saving over $4500 per ticket. In the event that we were not offered the lower cost upgrade, we would buy it anyways for overseas travel 100% of the time. Totally worth it.

Wow that’s a great hack. I’ve never enjoyed my travel with American Airlines generally, but this is a good reason to reconsider - although I’d have to travel a lot to get the points in the first place so…

As i get older business class is the only way to go. I travel to the usa at least twice a year and just cant arrive with a saw back and swollen legs any more

Business class is not like that on Americas airlines some not even first class.

Yes American Airlines in s are generally rather ordinary on my experience- as with a lot of cheap European airlines. When you are flying long haul best to choose and airline that has those levels of service.
