Hello..this is very helpful. I am glad they dont require immigration checks again. I will be travelling from Washington DC, to Dubai and then Bangladesh. How long would security check take? Do I have to take out my camera gears, laptops, phones, belt, shoes, shampoos and hair gels once again? I only have a 2.5 hr layover...given how huge the airport is, I am a bit concerned about missing my connecting flight. I hope i can make it in time. Thank you for posting this video. I now have a mental map.

Security check takes two minutes, no you won’t have to take anything out except belt, 2.5 hrs are more than enough, though at the gate one more round of security check for those travelling to US , which too is very fast

Hello. Travelling to kolkota soon. I always bringh 1 or 2 courses of antibiotics with me in case of stomach issues plus some stomach cramps medicines. And my mum brings her headaches/vertigo meds. Are those issues in Dxb airport on transit flights?

Doesn't the Emirates give a bus for the passengers for easy connection. I am a first time flyer to UK from India, connecting via Dubai. I feel so nervous seeing so much travel.

I have Emirates flight from Kolkata to DXB ( T3) and connection time is just 1 hour 15 mins to next flight which is Air Canada (T3) to Toronto. Is the connection time enough ? Do I have to go thru security check in ? The flight is ticketed by Air Canada

Hi, at 2:00 you’re going straight past the Connections Check-In desk on the conveyor belt. If you have a connections flight in the same terminal do you still need to check in at that desk before following on?

It depends while in this video it took 20 minutes when I had three hrs. Whereas, while on return I had only half an hour and it took 10 minutes. It depends upon how far is your next gate . Maximum it will take 20 minutes , Emirates claims. Regards

Do they weight cabin baggage second time in Dubai? I have transit in terminal 3. Both are Emirates flight. Kolkata to dxb and dxb to Glasgow. Also do they allow a ladies purse in addition to cabin trolley when starting from India

Hi, i have a flight from Mumbai to London via the Emirates flight, and a layover of 1 hr and 10 mins in Dubai Airport… Emirates for both the journeys… will that be enough for me to check security clearance and to get to the other gate for the second journey i.e from Dubai to London? I am a little concerned about that…

No need to worry , security is lightening fast , sort of formality , 20 minutes is sufficient to reach from one gate to other . If you wish to shop, stores will be available near your gate too

Thank you very much again. Actually I am thinking what if my first flight is late...😂 normally I never do that , it is very risky especially if the 2nd flight is the last flight of the day. If missed you have to wait til the next day

@CarlaPear1 actually while returning back from US to Bombay , my flight was at 9:30 am local tome and my flight landed at T3 at 8:30 and it took more than 30 minutes before I embarked , but I could catch the flight with ease. Emirates keep lesser distance between the gates for short duration catch

It is there , i don’t think that is chargeable. But it will drop you to quick security and beyond there lifts and trains are available depending upon your gate
