For some reason the quality of dragonriding videos is awful on youtube unless it's in 4k, so I'd reccomend that because god damn does 1080p look like trash
Maan that hit the spot, after a working a bit stressful weekend... Now I'm just chillin watching you flying eating a desert. The last time I played WoW was like 2,5 years ago soo its nice to see the zones.
Just came off of a 90 hour work week and man this was such an enjoyable watch, could literally feel the tension leaving my body. 11/10 thankyou Squidg - longtime member of Tabard gang
I wish Blizzard would put more focus on making the world seem more alive by reducing layering. Retail feels so lonely, flying the length of a continent and not seeing a single other player. Retail has so much potential if it could make Azeroth feel populated and active, like how it is in SoD. The idea of a server community really adds some magic to the game; I can't describe the number of times I've recognized a familiar name while questing or running a dungeon in SoD. Ultimately, what's the value in Retail having these beautiful zones filled with ambiance and stories if there's seemingly no one else around to experience it with.
The Reason behind retails lack of seeing players and all in certain zones is because of the chromie timewalking phases. I think what they should do to fix this would be Remove all the "New player/low" populated realms & maybe some of the normal populated ones and then when someone selects lets say TBC timewalking from chromie instead of phasing u into ur own little habbitat of bullcrap your instead placed in this state of like all the people playing on ur realm so no matter if u leave sw or something u can see 70s who are flying around doing there thing even while all the mobs are lvling with u but also if u need help a 70 can drop by and help without having to Sync which syncing sucks too cause it drops the 70 to 60 and then the mobs u wanted help on just become there lvls which now the help is useless. idk maybe my explanation sucks but phasing is really here becuz of chromie & the godly amount of realms we have even tho 70% of them are dead with barely anyone playing. only reason it seems popular is cuz they linked like 4-7 realms of the same population size together which honestly does not help at all unless ur on a normal-full pop server.
I think as a community we need to start advertising the game to people around us. The game is dying and we blame the developers. Let's take matter into our own hands and try to bring life back
players arent helping either tho. With Wow classic, wow HC, and wow SoD we now have players split between 4 different versions of wow that retail still has a decent amount but alot that left just went to play the other wows. But i also dont blame people for leaving retail getting into the endgame is just so terrible idk many new players who actually stay once they start to find out all the requirements behind getting into high keys, Mythic raiding, and or high end pvp. I mean if i was a new player and someone told me you need this and this and this and this addon, then u gotta fix ur setup make sure ur bars are the way u want and frames and all that, lets get ur talent builds you need, set up keybindings to ur comfort id probably leave too. Retail is just way to overwhelming and bloated to really bring in any new players and even some veterans who probably played Tbc-Mop are probably looking at it and saying they wont come back cuz its just too much now
