We never planned or expected to fly during the pandemic! We were in Western Australia when they announced the immediate closure of their borders! We couldn't even use our transfer flights through New Zealand! SO we had to book emergency flights to Sydney and get on the last flight out to Honolulu, Hawaii!

I think the pandemic has really taught many to live in the moment. We can't plan for the future and all we can focus on is now. We feel exactly like you do, we travel to spend time together and the lock down gave us time to slow down and really focus on the little things that make us happy. We make videos for our children as well...for our memories. It's a labor of love. It takes so much time, but in the end, it's worth it!

WOW! I feel so blessed and lucky to live in NEW ZEALAND. Life is just like normal for us and it has been for a very long time. We had a country wide lock down to contain the virus and closed all the boarders and it worked brilliantly. Now we are slowly letting people return home but with strict isolation protocols. We have not had a single case of community transmission is over 3 months. So so lucky.

A lot of people dream having a family as such, but not too many are aware of the preparation to get there, not just money but the finding of a mate that matches, the athletic skills that are genetic, and the unlimited wisdom acquired at their age. One also has to realize he had the wisdom to cash in his high tech company at early age to meet this lifestyle, and to afford an emergency plane to go home takes a lot of planning, dough and connections. Each successful happy family takes a lot, and that's why it's rare. We can find zillions of rich families but very few non dysfunctional and happy ones. Yet Covid19 brings us all to the same level of sadness, loss of freedom except the few countries who can wisely guide their population.

The beauty of this video is so touching and loving and fills my heart. So many of us have struggled through so many things. All a part of this live we live. I think that whatever we are all going through in life that the true journey is how we have touched one another. I did not dislike the video, but was thinking about all the peoples dying alone in this pandemic. This family has everything going for them ...healthy and happy kids, living in Hawaii etc. So, I can understand that there are peoples who disliked the video ...there are worst things in live and actually we could have had control over the situation by wearing masks, social distancing, washing hands etc. But peoples want to go to gyms, even in Hawaii and one guy who did just that on Oahu infected many peoples ...so please, peoples stop playing the victims and start being part of the solution! (PS: I am in a long distance relationship and because of travel restrictions between Europe and the US, I have not seen my boy-friend since we both had to leave Hawaii back in March, but I realize that peoples are worse off ...family members not seeing each other while sick or dying ....if you don't want to wear a mask, please stay home.

3rd Eye social distancing causes lack of human contact which equates to depression and suicide in a lot of people. What studies have been done to say masks all day is safe? What about the disinfectants we are using especially on carts? Does it absorb in skin? Do you really think your gov cares that people got sick? Masks only slow spread not eliminate the virus. It still comes in through eyes etc. Masks don’t protect the eyes and the virus gets through the masks.

Kids understand at their own level...just like you can show them the world, they feel loved, they understand that. My kids have shown me they adapt so fast and they have yelled at me when I firgot to wash my hands😏 without soap. So don't worry about not having the answers, show them that even superheroes (mom and dad) don't know everything. Stay safe, me and my family have enjoyed your channel so much...my kids have learned about parts of the world and animals and my daughter (8) has taken to swimming finally after watching Dorothy a few months back. There’s no place like home. I’m glad you all got back safely. It may take years to get back to some sort of “normal” but take it one day at a time and live your life to the fullest. All we can do is take it day by day. What I have learned is that what my kids want more than anything in the whole world is love and time with us and I am grateful for being able to give them that. Both are a gift and I try to focus on that. Sending my best BLF ❤️

I was supposed to fly to Canada today to attend an Irish dance camp with some of my best friends. It broke all of our hearts that we couldn't go because it was our first time going to a camp like this. We would have lived in cabins, went swimming in the lake, gone rock climbing, but most of all we would've gotten to dance. There were a lot of tears over facetime, but if the world is able to go back to normal we can go next year. Although we have lost a lot during this pandemic I am grateful that my friends and family are safe and healthy. I'm glad you guys were able to get home safely! Hope you guys are going well. we love you!!!

So wonderful you were able to have the experiences you did while in Australia. They were awesome. AND, you are teaching your children amazingly, how to face the challenges and be brave. My goodness, if they can, at their age, dive into an ocean and swim with sharks ... whales ... manta rays ... then they can learn to be brave enough to dive into the deep unknown. Because, that's really what we are facing right now. We dont have the answers ... only a lot of questions. Can we hold the questions without having the answers, and trust the deep Unknown to hold us? I believe we can. Some may call it faith. Love you and your family. You teach us so much. Thank you for being vulnerable.

I know you guys probably won't see this but I wanted you to know that your videos have really helped me ge through this, my country had one of the longest full Lockdown in the world and it was really hard and scary but watching your videos really brought a smile to my face and helped me remember that the world isn't such a bad place after all. Aww, I love you guys. I know this was over a year ago, but I'm happy that you got home safe and sound. I can't wait to see more from you all. I have folder labeled, none other than "The Bucket List Family" and I put all your videos in there and whenever I need a pick me up, I watch one. I am pretty much stuck in my house on oxygen waiting for a lung transplant, but first I've got a lot of testing to do to see if I qualify. Garrett, your recent uploads have made me wonder where your family was and whether you guys were safe during this unpredictable time in our history. I look forward to your quarantine videos but let me tell you that I feel more inspired than EVER to embark on a similar journey or travel as you and your family explore and savour all that the world has to offer. If anything, this quarantine and lockdown period that we are experiencing in South Africa has motivated me to move to overseas shores to experience life and travel all the more.
