He's also famous for FlyLo FM from GTA5. Not many artists can say they have an entire radio station named after them in the most successful entertainment product in human history. In fact only one person can: him.
I guess it depends what circle. This man has an almost immaculate and certainly legendary catalog of his own albums. Built a huge reputation off that fr he wasn't picked at random for TBAP...especially considering their first collab was never catch me on an album of Flylo'a years prior. Just putting respect on the man's name he's a true artist ❤️🔥
@dylanraffaelli5204 For sure, Cosmogramma is one of my favorite electronic albums, period. Definitely an inspiration for the future producers and I can't wait to see what he will do next. I hope for a collab album, maybe Thundercat or Earl could also be fire.
"Thundercat was alive in 2010?" Yes. In fact, the majority of his music is actually produced by Flying Lotus. Theyre actually pretty good friends. And both of their first names are Steven lol
I love your channel because I just went though a whole bunch of classic albums in my head, and it looks like you already reacted to them! keep up the great work
'Los Angeles,' 'Until the Quiet Comes,' 'You're Dead,' and 'Flamagra' are all essentially for me. Top three "IDM" artist for me with Aphex Twin and Autechre. edit: Forgot his 'Reset' EP. 'Massage Situation' is a banger.
love this shit. Flying Lotus and Prefuse 73 are my go-to hip-hop stuff, and they kinda started this whole glitchy-experimental-complex hip-hop trend. If you want to listen to anything similar, start with "Vocal Studies + Uprock Narratives" by Prefuse 73 Another artist i think you would like is a very early IDM style artist from the time IDM was more popular, but has simultaneously the most groovy and complex rhythms, but the most nostalgic and atmospheric ambient tracks, and it reminds me a lot of BoC if BoC was focused on the 90's/2000's instead of the 70's
Nice! This is one of those albums where if somebody asked me (no one lol) what's the most nicely produced album or the one that is most overproduced, first that'll come to my mind is Cosmogramma no matter what. I'd really suggest you reading background behind this album and how particularly last track was made . It's very touching and personal. Kind of a rarity when a electronic album has something like that. I'd really love to see you do Iglooghost - Neō Wax Bloom reaction someday. It is also kind of overproduced as fuck but beautiful and nice.
I can't believe you started with the AFXs,Autechre and the boards of Canada then went to FlyLo I was in opposite started with him and the Ras G Samiyam Daddy Kev etc then the heavier stuff
Great choice! One of my favourite electronic records from that era! Also the first collaboration with FlyLo and Thom Yorke! There’s a few great videos of them DJing together on RU-vid if you want to check it out.
The day I’m commenting marks 7 year since Chris Cornell’s passing so it feels only right to once again recommend Superunknown by Soundgarden. Hard to express how much this band has helped me through my own struggles. Chris truly had a one of a kind voice and soul. Batmotorfinger also is an amazing record
been waiting for this one!! if you're looking for another banger 2010 album check out This Is Happening by LCD Soundsystem! I know you werent crazy about Sound of Silver but I think this one will be more up your alley
I love your way of doing reactions. I think you should react to MAYĀ by Mace. He is an italian producer that with this album goes all around the world with sound and sperimentation
Finally, I have been waiting so goddamn long In my mind ever time I listen to this album i think about if nervous system and cells in our body had sound tracks Please react/listen to more flying lotus If you want more hip hop from flying louts : Captain Murphy - Duality ,Ideas+drafts+loops Or jazz I would recommend: You're Dead! Or electronic/psychedelic :1983 , los Angeles, Until the Quiet Comes
