I remember last year when lying in bed with my dog I was listening to this beautiful song and then it suddenly hit me, he was not the little puppy that used to fit in one of my shoe anymore, he was an old dog now… and then I knew I would miss him everyday when his time would come. It's 2021 and he is gone and all I have are his pictures and precious memories. Tiny turtures indeed.
How in the fuck does this only have a little under 2k views? Are you kidding me? One of the best music videos I have ever seen. Even if u don't like his music the video is still extremely original and creative
i thought i was on the wrong channel or something when i saw the views. totally blew my mind. so much work and creativity. this is art and people don't know about it!
My first time trying shrooms earlier this year, I put Until The Quiet Comes and when this song came on, uncontrollably, tears just started rolling down. I remember walking home from my first job at little caesar’s back in 2016-2017 I would listen to this song back to back. Dark roads surround me and it fit the vibe. I would always say one day I’d own a car so I wouldn’t have to walk anymore. I’ve came a long way! It just made me think about those long walks home and how much of a full circle moment it was. I got goosebumps and I started crying and smiling. Beautiful video, beautiful song and I will always look back and remember those days. Thank you for reading if you did! Peace be with you all!
I love reading stories like this. I use to take the bus home and had no family really around to drive me anywhere. I spent most of my days trying to commute back and forth and I remember crying on the bus because of how tired I was and how bad I wanted to be home. I don’t regret those days because it brought me humility and humbled me.
This is one of my favorite videos of all time, Elijah's acting is so powerful and emotional in this as he portrays the role and pain so well. One of his best acts.
Flying Lotus is one the most artistic artist out there, music wise and video wise. People these days don't dig deep in music and it sucks because I don't think they ever will.
bombcollective no what he makes is Flying Lotus is digging deep not necessarily the listener. I just personally discovered Flying Lotus, but i can already tell what he makes isn't just a few weird noises and beats thrown together, but to represents a thought, message, or thing in his music. For example; I believe in this video; he is talking about why some people "need" or do get high. To escape their realities or personal hells
Seanisawesome000 Wrong, not necessarily. Sometimes people just want to relax. Not everything is "this or that"... Theres usually a grey area. You need to relax and think deeper before commenting lol.
I'd always watch this video bcs i found it creepy and intriguing, but never felt compelled enough by it. Then I got diagnosed with cancer, and nothing exemplifies the feeling of being overwhelmed by all the stuff that was normal in your life up until that point in time. Never had the oportunity to get one of these mental escapades.
similar story bro. No serious illness though. this video hits you in a different way. Sometimes I feel like I am a shell of who I used to be. But I'm slowly building better habits and greater wellness.
+Marcos a bunch of the brainfeeder guys have talked anime in interviews. hell, i think ive seen a pic of thundercat wearing a naruto shirt (not to mention where he got his name from lol). that said, im not as sure about flylo in particular.
+Geoff Smith Flylo is a pretty nerdy guy im sure he fucks with allot of anime and such. He works for Adult Swim allot too, allot of the intermissions are his or he makes them special for them. AS artists fuck heavy with Flylo. Flylo's mixtape duality (capt murphy) has a whole music video for the tape. The movie was made by AS to his liking, and i will say Duality is one of the tripiest videos i have ever seen. The earl sweatshirt part is
The more you listen to it, the more beautifull it gets. The more you listen to it, the more new things you can hear. It's an aestetic. Art, to say the least. An absolute masterpiece.
I literally thought when I looked down from the video I was going to see millions of views and thousands of comments. You are going to go so far, FlyLo. This was awe inspiring.
The videos to FlyLo's music are always interesting, but I honestly think it takes a little away from the listening experience. Hearing his songs with your eyes closed and nothing else going on around you really makes your mind connect with the music and make personal connections.
I'm in the middle of a Flying Lotus discovery/binge an I have to ask…is there anything on here that *isn't* completely brilliant? Because my mind is kind of blown right now.
