Transavia is a daughter of KLM.

The seats are terrible. Every time someone puts an item in the back of the seat u can feel it on your back.

I had that same issue, the boarding gate said they were "open", but we weren't allowed in yet, so we had to wait longer than expected, it was really good airline though, but no wifi.

It did meet the maximum requirement but we also noticed that they didn’t check the size or weight at any gate. Based on our experience it could be ok to be a little over

Hi, thank you for your question. In our experience from Amsterdam to Tenerife and Tenerife back to Amsterdam, we really liked the airline. The flight was on time, comfortable, crew was decent, plane was fairly clean. We also heard about bad reviews but that was not our experience. Frankly, we just took a flight on TAP Portugal last week (LIS to JFK) and although we love TAP, we sat on tarmac for 3 hours before we could move due to airplanes comm issue. In short, sometimes the bad experience are situational and depends on your airports and routes. there is a Transavia France and the normal Transavia, that flies from the Netherlands. The france one has more worse reviews then the dutch one. I fly a lot with the dutch Transavia, i really like them. Cheap and safe; 0 crashes in their history fleet. Hope this helpes.

Sorry to hear your experience. Just curious, can you share your flight details (city name). We had booked our flight on Delta and KLM from New York to Tenerife via Amsterdam. Our flight also didn’t come with any meals or water but I purchased a sandwich and Diet Coke. Again, sad to hear about your experience, and thanks for sharing with us
