FLY8MA got my ticket in 85 out of John Wayne KSNA. So need to get back into flying 10 hrs a month. Been 4 or 5 for a long while. My 182 is phenomenal and my wife is a really good auto pilot if you know what I mean. 😁
Nice view ... have never seen it from the air like that, the Lake is really LOW............... The landscape is stark to say the least but I always loved driving across Nevada.. hope ya make it to RENO for the air races, it's the place to be in Sept.

I’ve been to Temple Bar, interesting place! Departed and did a dam tour as well. I will say the helicopter tour folks wee VERY helpful on com with info to keep safe spacing. I appreciated that As I was a fairly low time pilot at the time.
Think about a flight to Furnace Creek Death Valley for the sweetest Dates ever! Good airstrip and restaurant. Stovepipe for a scenic flight over dunes to the creater.

About 15 years ago I was on a airplane tour of the Grand Canyon. Going over the ridge to lake Meade the carovan that we were flying dropped about 100ft so fast things floated up in the cabin . The pilot was so scared that he said nothing the rest of the trip .
CHECK LIST if you want to live!!.... so sad to see the lake so low.... I think it last overflowed around 2001.... I remember all the harbors being open and then one by one closing... It will take 7 to 8 years of heavy winters to fill it...
I like your channel and the videos can be enjoyable, however you may want to turn the music down so, I believe, more people can understand what you are saying when the headsets are on. Thanks

You have a fuel leak and you checked the plane out? You need to be less cutezie and more CFI. How are you going to take control of the plane in an Emergency with a hand full of Canon Camera?
