The Uffington Horse is an amazing piece of art thought to be about 4500-5500 years old (3500-2400BC) Incredibly stylised 'horse'. Frankly it looks more like a lion or cat or something to me, but it must have been pretty amazing to see something like this 5000 years ago.
This area is full of some of the most ancient man made t stuff on earth for some reason. Stone Henge is close, but frankly I think Avesbury is far more impressive. It's 800 years older - 1000 years before the pyramids. Here we have a complete city of stone age wonders - A causeway of massive 10+ feet high stones leading to a vast circular centre with a massive motte, and more standing stones. Then out a bit, Silbury Hill - the largest earth mount in Europe. This would have taken lifetimes to build and need 100s of people working full time - all in a time of subsistence farming ? Where did they come from ? How did they live ? How could the society to afford to have so many men working on this and not making food ?

I watch your videos all the time, I like your style. Nice peaceful flying, I’m just getting into ppg now (50 years old) because you inspired me to and it’s the same style I want to do, I’m no longer a crazy young adrenaline junky haha I am just about to buy a garmin watch, I want to buy it once and be happy with it. What model would you recommend as being the best and user friendly (easy to read, use, understand, with all features etc) Thank you and keep up the beautiful videos
