I am a UPS driver in Atlanta. I've delivered several RC's to his studio. I've never actually met him but it was cool to know I had a hand in getting him his toys.
Hello Mr. Perry. I'm 64 with Parkinson and can no longer build but my father started me at age 6. I smiled just seeing the amazing fleet and passion you have for the hobby. Awesome!
Its always nice to find out after being a fan of a celeb for a while they have some hidden tallent. Like the other day i found out that Idris Alba is also a dj .
@@TheFrenchPug Yeah, finding this out blew me away. That collection and dedicated "hangar" is awesome. Also the fact that even with the level of success he’s attained , he is conscientious of his neighbors and surroundings. Not acting like an entitled "enter your colourful description here" . That is cool in my book.
Money doesn't change people, it just shows who they really are. It's great to see how much of a class act and down to earth individual Tyler Perry has remained despite his fame and accomplishments.
Tyler Perry's cool factor increases with every event I see him involved with. This is such a cool hobby and I never would've guessed a mega star would be into this! Very cool!
Cool hobby?!! Are you for real? Confess, the only reason why you think it is 'cool' is because he has money. If this was your average 'Joe' you'd think he was crazy.
It doesn't matter your wealth or lack of in this hobby. We all just have that camaraderie when it comes to flying planes. Tyler seems just like any other guy you'd meet on a Sunday morning at the field.
I love how certain hobbies can be great equalizers like that. This reminds me of how I take BJJ classes and recently learned that one of my instructors is a federal judge outside of the gym. He’s just Coach Mustafa on the mat.
The RC hobby is one of the best things that happened to me. I was introduced to it while flying kites with my dad as a kid. When I got the chance to start as a senior in high school I fell in love. 42 years later and countless "walks of shame" I am glad to know such wonderful people like Mr. Perry are enjoying the hobby and acting as ambassadors. PS. Thank you for what you did to Honor Ms. Tyson Mr. Perry.
I've only been in the drone hobby for about 8 years but have had a few "walks of shame" so it's a special brotherhood we all share LOL --- my worst experience ever was buying a new $1200 DJI Phantom 3 and crashing it the same day I bought it --- hung a big firework from it by a string and let it detonate and it took down my new bird LMAO
I've been in the hobby more or less for 30 years, but I have NEVER seen anything like this. An ENTIRE FLEET of one off giant scale airliners and bizzjets with a dedicated hangar and a private airfield at their disposal. Insane!! Seeing just one or two of these on an RC fly-in would be cool enough in it's self, but THIS?! Awesome stuff and cool dudes!
It’s a different story when your in the hobby and you partake in the build then fly vs pay a one of the best RC plane builders to build your planes and you just fly them in your personal RC playground backyard runway and all
12:52 that shot with the a320 in the background and the 747 making a turn.... is just epic🤩🤩🤩✈ and that A380 landing was just amazing.. Ramy you got some competition blessings from india keep us inspiring
12:50.... couldn't have planned that better!! Also, way cool to see Mr. Perry so into this, and I have to say the man has impeccable taste in architecture!
I’m a new fan of Tyler Perry after this treat of a video. What a spectacular hobbyist he is. His collection is extravagant compared to someone with average or even above average financial means, however, this collection is very conservative considering his virtually unlimited financial means. He can do whatever he wants with his time and he chooses to enjoy the RC hobby. It’s really neat that he gives away planes to kids. I also really liked how appreciative he is of Ramy RC. Absolutely zero pretentiousness and is grateful and humble. This was a excellent video. I’m now a Tyler Perry fan.
Thank u Mr Perry for this treat-- I fly since I am 12. I am now 61 with tons of Helicopters and all sorts of planes -- but this beats it all -- thank u for this treat! Cudos on your landings👍
Mr. Perry, I have a whole different level of respect for you knowing you enjoy the awesome world of RC aircraft. You couldn't have found a better builder. Ramy you are top notch...you have mad skill that makes others strive to the level of perfection you show. Awesome flying and building.
People are in all these "Fantasy Football Leagues" and such nowadays, I’m setting up a "Fantasy Neighborhood". I’ve already "drafted" Keanu Reeves and Daniel Craig so John Wick and James Bond can take care of the all the riffraff. Now I think I need to try and get Tyler Perry,,,, lol
Tyler Perry has always seemed wise beyond his years. Especially during his plays when he's portraying Madea and just talking about current situations. He has a way of telling a story that everyone can relate to and learn from. Continued success.
I've been in R.C modeling for about 20 years now and I can assure you that it is not easy to fly these planes. Keep in mind that your flight controls keep reversing depending on the attitude of the plane. Coming towards you is one attitude and going away is the opposite. Not to mention that financial investment you have in the model that keeps your nerves on edge. I've been watching Ramy's channel for about three years and he is amazing and definitely attained the level of a master class builder. Seems like a partnership of Tyler love of flying big models and Ramy building them.
Haha they’re not that hard to fly, try a helicopter. Pfft. Nerves on edge LOL! Seriously?! Also, the word ‘Master Class’ gets thrown around way too frivolously. Knowing how to care for your lipos isn’t master class anything, it just means that you read your battery manual. Also, you say you’ve been into rc for 20 years yet there’s not a single rc video on your channel. Probably why you think they’re difficult to fly, you’ve never done it..
@@JosephSuskin Well, I guess I didn't learn that way. For me, its more of a eye hand coordination process and then a learned reaction from what I see not visualize from the cockpit. I am interested in getting into FPV where that would be the situational awareness.
I learned to fly R/C planes back in the 70s. By today's standards, with the technology today compared to then, that was the stone ages. Servos were more than 10x the size of today's and radios were not programmable. But after getting into flying FPV freestyle drones back in 2018, I much prefer that to R/C planes. There's just more fun flying through, in between, around and under objects like trees and other obstacles as opposed to flying in a circle. The learning curve can be a little steep depending on the person. Simulators can help with that. Unless you have someone doing builds and repairs for you, soldering and troubleshooting skills are very important.
Thank you Ramy & Tyler! What an amazing video on so many levels … Tyler for being just a regular RC plane enthusiast like the rest of us and Ramy for his constant inspiration and unmatched talent. And to see Tyler’s pad, watch him gather a crash & fix the plane, and his constant outreach & support for the community and getting kids interested in the hobby. Thank you both for sharing this!
Mr Perry, Thanks for sharing your awesome RC craft collection! It is so inspiring and truly worth watching. I recently watched the C17 build and a few flights. So awesome!
Tylers a/c collection is insane..... Love how he retaped his crashed plane and refused to give up on it..... Now it looks better than before Also cant wait to hear what this new movie is
I'm glad to see him enjoying himself with his hobby. Awesome Mr Perry!😊 This is an amazing young man and a very talented person. Thank you for sharing ❤
Very impressive, inspirational and well done Mr. Perry. Your planes and runway, your big boy toys are certainly befitting a man of your stature. Great video. 👍👍
AMAZING how a love of a hobby brought you two together from across the ocean!! To hear how much Tyler appreciates your expertise is truly amazing!! Keep up the great work and continued successes!! Glad the algorithm brought me here!! LOL!!
Two very humble people...This was a match that couldn't have joined soon enough. Welcome to the U.S.A. and thanks for your amazing contributions to the hobby.
I have followed you for several years now Ramy and as former pilot and unable to afford the real thing, You and Tyler have inspired me to start the process of learning RC as MY hobby.(Even though it is also expensive, I can start small) I have followed Tyler in some of his other endeavors and love him also. (I operate a charity that restores homes after tragedy) It’s really cool when God brings together two generals of this community. Love you both! Really re-inspired to start my journey in RC.
Tyler has some beautiful planes! Ramy great job on the builds awesome work. Hopefully one day we can get you and Tyler out to Flite Test and have some fun. Tyler is such a generous man, we are still giving away the planes he gave to us and probably will be for some time. God bless you and once again great job!
As a young man in my mid 20s I too started with the flying of RC planes . 100% self taught. I was never fortunate to have such state of the art equipment , but even without , I always had the time of my life ! So many memories too ! Keep doing what ever makes you happy and above all , keep flying !
@@electric_sand buy a cheap learner plane... You can get really good starter planes for $100-$200. Anything cheaper is just trash and will only make it harder for you to learn. Most important though is to find a software emulator that will work with your controller/transmitter and practice with some virtual simulators before taking your plane for a spin. Last but not least... Dont get discouraged if you crash your plane. The electronics usually are fine and the planes are repairable. If you practice enough with an emulator first and do good with it then you should be fine but everybody crashes their RC planes, trucks, boats at some point or another. Thats why you start out with something inexpensive and as your skills get improve, if you enjoy the hobby then save up and get yourself something that you can really be proud of... Also lookup RC hobby events in your area. There are a ton of RC plane meetups and shows where you will find many hobbyist happy to share tips and info with you. Its like 1 big happy family... It truly is... You will meet the best people God has to offer in the RC hobby family.
@@electric_sand If money is tight, place an ad on craigslist asking for any donations that you would like to start learning to fly RC planes but cannot afford a new one at this time. You would be surprised to find out how many people are willing to give you some older RC planes that might have a little damage but still fly fine. Most RC hobbyist have quite the junk pile laying around thats junk to them but awesome for someone just getting into it.
@@teeshark6584 Hi tee shark, thank you for the very helpful response (I wonder why your comment only shows up in the notifications). I thought the starter planes would be more expensive...got some useful tips from you, thanks again!
It's a blessing to see an icon putting his money to good use and introducing kids that have never flown RC planes. It's a habit but it's a good habit. I started with ham and CB radio and RC planes were right behind helicopters are now. Thank you so much Remy and all the people that help with this video together. Blessings to you, Tyler homeboy 😺🎉
It's unbelievable I came across this. I'm teaching myself to fly now. My father always wanted to do it when I was a kid. We had a neighbor who did it and Dad would go with and watch. After losing Mom and Dad within a couple months of each other. I had a hard time finding myself. Now 3yrs later I'm trying my best to learn on my own. Unfortunately I can't afford much. But I'm doing what I can for Dad. Something to help me ❤️
That is the most beautiful flying I see for large RC planes your skill and knowledge building those planes for us to enjoy are most appreciated, please keep up the good works you have all our support.
Tyler and Ramy, thank you for these videos. You are both the best of people. Tyler I'm honored to have you be such a great representative of Atlanta. Thank you for all you do.
Salaams (peace), this is so heart warming to see 2 amazing guys from different backgrounds bonding because of the love of a hobby. Great skills, beautiful settings, out of this world planes. I am an electric guy myself for the same reasons given by Mr. Perry. Really love this collaboration. Keep going strong.
Loved this! I've built many planes and have flown very few of them to avoid crashing them. I'm am learning to accept that in life, one must fly their planes.
A fantastic video. It gave me joy - and goosebumps - to watch this. I have always been a fan of commercial and private jets. Seeing this was a dream come true. Bravo!!
What a great video! It's great seeing someone like Tyler Perrry that's into the hobby. Sometimes we see actors on the big screen and we forget that they're real people like the rest of us. I can also see that Ramy and Tyler are true friends. Almost forgot about the planes. The planes are awesome!!!!
I couldn’t agree more with the comment on how great it is that someone as talented, and smart as Tyler Perry not only has a.. well I wouldn’t call it a “normal” hobby, but such an extraordinary hobby like average Joe, me 😂. And that talent extends to flying RC. WOW! Hat’s off to you Mr Perry! And Ramy, so glad you could get over here! I’ve followed you for some years now and absolutely love what you do! Keep it up!!
Tyler Perry is one of my heroes, and I am pleasantly surprised he is into RC airplanes. He's one of the nicest people, and I'm happy you got together with him!
You are just a grown child Mr.Perry and I love it. The Dr. told me that I needed to find a hobby since I can't do the things that I used to do and that's why I love RC'S but I want to deal with cars, trucks and truggies. On my birthday this year I'll be buying my first truck ❤
Love this video ! So cool when you see someone embrace this hobby like that - makes you realize that you’re not alone in the psychosis of RC flight ! Tyler looks like a big kid - good for him ! Fly on !
yo, this is so freggin cool. congrats Ramy!!! in my opinion, you and tyler have elevated our hobby to new heights!! I would imagine there are ton of people who will learn about and take an interest in RC Flight! Truly job well done!!!
Get the computer version first. 1-2 hundred. That will save some airplanes. From another single engine land ticket holder. Not the same when its coming at you. You have to learn/ train your mind to stay in the plane. So you know where you are. Lots of fun and challenge.
