Thank you for video. 1:43 to 2:35 is a perfect tied in with the episode The Sky's On Fire When Admiral Nelson flew The Flying Sub 1 to Washington DC National Airport Runway 14 for the conference with the other scientists about the fire in the southern hemisphere.
I always loved the Flying sub. But I thought it was a short take off and landing vehicle. You see it lift out of the ocean with very little runway. Almost like a Harrier.
It actually did, only appeared kind of in one episode. Read some of the below information and some really great photos of the actual model.. www.allsci-fi.com/viewtopic.php?p=36040&sid=6324a3f90ca7dc3e37b93c6381d5ea58
No rudder, ailerons, or elevators? And I also would like to know what type you intake the “Flying Sub” used for flight. And how can it swap out the ability to fly in the air and immediately enter the 2:35 water and continue to function as if the interchange was instantaneous? Also taking into consideration the reverse process of taking to the air directly from the water?
@@CharlesGates-v6n believe it or not. It's a TV show. Not a real aircraft. We have no idea how a vehicle of the future will be able to fly or control directions.
Not cgi. It was a flight simulator program. Microsoft flight simulator add-ons. Like different planes or helicopters. But we did Jupiter II from Lost in Space and Flying Sub from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and Spindrift from the Land of the Giants. My video recording was limited at the time due to the complexity of the vehicle being rendered.
@@Spidious Ah, MFS cool. I thought it was an old render or something. From your thumbnail though, I was expecting to see a flying model or RC model of the actual flying sub from the show. I used to play flying games, Sturmovik and the like.
Actually it was an add on for Microsoft flight simulator. I was a beta tester for them. Lost in space, with a full complete interior all deck levels highly detailed. Land of the giants Spindrift with full detailed interior. Voyage to the bottom of the sea flying sub with full detailed interior. All three of them had moving doors, switches radar screen, lighting . There is a video of the interior of lis Jupiter 2 in my videos.
