Hello! Instead of a rock for preventing the trike to move backwards when lifting the wing, use a piece of strap with loops at both ends. You pass them through the foot pegs and after step in the middle of it to the ground. Is the way it works with the Ant.Simple …
I can confirm this fits nicely in the back of a Ford Focus hatchback (with prop ON) if you don't mind winding the front seat all the way back and resting the front wheel of the trike on the front seat.
Hi, This aircraft has now been sol. if you wish to know more about sub 70 flying in the UK, please contact me through the British Hang gliding and Paragliding Association. BHPA. Thanks
Nanolight is a generic term for very light trikes, if your question is whether it fits into the CAA's Sub-70kgs exemption category the answer is it's marginal! I calculated that this combination weighed in at 68Kgs dry. (Excluding a parachute, which allows a further 5kgs). It could have been flown as a sub-70 with (say) a 2kg chute leaving 5kgs for fuel (6.4litres - approx 90minutes) . I made this clear to the chap who bought it, but he was intending to swap the existing registration on the wing to himself, complete his NPPL and fly it as an SSDR in any event.
@@iancurrer4514 Yes, I suppose that it is quite difficult to describe something that can be placed in a few different legal categories - inc part103! ;o)
Hi Chris, yes it is still for sale. I have a possible buyer who has first dibs and should be in a position to decide in the next 48 hrs. But if he does not complete the purchase by then it's available.. Ian
