Sounds like a great plan! We loved our time at the end of our trip I'm Tirana. We recommend taking the cable car up mount Dajti if you have time. We would love to visit Kosovo! Where would you recommend visiting?

@@theendlesstravellers I think you have to visit the capital prishtina and take in the bear sanctuary which was about a 25 min drive absolutely incredible and very moving when you read the horror stories these animals suffered . But my favourite place was prizren absolutely stunning with a river running through it , Kosovo was incredible and the warmth we were met with was something we both will never forget . We love to travel to different places away from the tourist places which to us are so dull and our brains die there lol

@@theendlesstravellers I think you could easily drive around kosovo in 7 plus days as it is small with only 1 airport in the country being pristina . We’re early 50s and we were sat in Portugal with very dear friends so I must state that lol , but I looked at my wife whilst laying at a pool and said is this it , is this what life is sitting at a pool in some crappy hotel eating horrendously bad all inclusive food in a tourist spot , we’ve done Italy New York Paris same old same old and it puts me to sleep . So 5 years ago we started in lithuania Poland north Macedonia Latvia Ukraine before the turn of events and trust me the best thing we ever did as our brains are fully engaged now , yes people always take the mick out of us . But trust me we are having the times of our lives. Ps I’m only a factory worker and wife a cook not a chef there is difference lol. So we have Albania next then the day of the dead festival in Mexico City and then we’re returning to kosovo and then after that 6 months at home before a 3 week trip to Japan

Imagine being the oldest culture in Europe, oldest langue, oldest traditions, defied every empire that came our way. Genocide committed by Turks and Serbs, looted by Turks and Serbs for 600 years. They destroyed Albanians universities in 14th century, burned Albanian libraries, banned Albanian langue, banned Albanian writing, looted everything they could and yet my people never gave up, refused to kneel to eastern Slavs and Turks. It was not a mistake by Max Planck institute to finally publish that Albanians are native with a langue that’s before anyone else still in continuous use since 6500 BCE. The fact of the matter is that you can never succeed to conquer or destroy a culture that is more advanced than yours and Romans failed, Byzantines failed, Turks failed and Slavs failed. What I am even more proud is that no history book ever mentions Albanias committing genocide, invading neighbors even when they had the military might in history or committing atrocities of any kind. If you are among Albanias as a friend and guest, you then probably are in the safest place in the world. BESA will protect you no matter where you are in Albania lands. Have fun guys!

@@theendlesstravellers Tirana or Theth ( mountain region in North ). LLogara Pass in South with an spectaculary view over the ionian Sea 😍😍 DHERMI Village is stunning too with the old town wow. i will visit Albania end of Mai cant wait to relax there ❤️
