Thanks for your great videos. Really enjoying to follow your trip through France. Initially I was not really attracted by the length of this video and then I enjoyed every second of it 😅 The mix of flying, touristy trips, beautiful scenery, radio communication and decision making is just perfect. Gives me the confidence to fly to France as soon as I get the airplane back from maintenance. Your videos are not only entertaining but really really helpful! Chapeau!
Really good videos, I just watched 8 of thems in a row ! You can indeed try La Rochelle LFBH next time, really nice airport, easy outdoor access with door with code, bus and public bike system just on the other side of the door. City center is really lovely. Cheers from LFKE !
Sehr cooles Video, da kann man hervorragend beim ganzen Abenteuer "mitfiebern". Und dann noch mit Étretat und Mont-Saint-Michel dazu! 🤩 Ja, die Handlinggebühren fürchte ich auch wie die Pest, man kann es leider beim spontanen ausweichen nicht immer wissen. Sehr schade, dass sowas in Frankreich auch immer mehr vorkommt. Zum Glück hast du mit dein Handlingagent ein "Deal" machen können. (Bin selbst so ähnlich in EHBK mal unter 250€ Handlinggebühr weggekommen.) Bei solche Reisen braucht es immer wieder etwas Glück, wie auch euren spontanen Hangarplatz vor dem Gewitter. Am Ende macht aber genau das diese Reisen zu echten (Flug)abenteuer. 😃 Mach weiter so! 👍🏼

Haha! Das mit SkyDemon hatte ich auch schon. Immer diese komischen Geräusche :D Ich hatte aber letztens was peinlicheres. Da hab ich beim Abflug nen Marker Beacon überflogen und mich stark gewundert wo das komische Piepsen vom Flugzeug her kommt. Passiert sowas! Hauptsache ihr hattet ne schöne Zeit!

Super tolle Einblicke! Könntest du am Ende der Videos immer noch die Flugdaten einblenden? Also zb. die geflogene Strecke, Zeit, Kosten für Sprit & Handling... hat mich schon bei den drei Teilen davor interessiert.
Nice trip ! nice editing too ! :) Supprised about the pricing at Nantes. Just had a look at the fees, and it should not have been more than 30€. There are price reduction for pilotes coming with a plane from a french flying club, but even then. Also saw that you had to getting handling with the local flying club. You got the big FBO instead, and that would explain the price. By the way, it seems that my comment from yeatserday after seeing your previous video got removed or considered as spam because of links I added. You should have a look, I had some questions about your video edditing regarding color corrections. I also had a link for a map, where you could find the locations where drone are allowed to fly and not. It's maybe to late for you now, but you know it for next time :)
We called the local club but they said no we can not taxi to their club, I think they said they had no space for us. So we had to deal with the big handling company. Sorry I can‘t find your other comment, maybe youtube deleted it automatically!?
Once again a great movie Ewald. In the SkyDemon pilot comments I can read that the Nantes handling is indeed lifted when asking for the Aeroclub. This did not work out for you so far???
Thanks Jan I appreciate it. We called the aeroclub and they told us we can't taxi there because they don't have any space. I think they thought we wanted to park our plane in their hangar because of the approaching storm. Next time we'll have to call a few days in advance 😄
@@Flugabenteuer OK got it. I also see you not filing a flightplan in advance in order to cross French controlled zones,...only the short one in flight. Is this correct?
Usually we always make a flight plan, but it’s possible that this day we didn’t (I don’t remember it’s so long ago) because we didn’t really know where we will end up 😄
Wie habt ihr das gelöst.. bei 41:30 --- Kosten für die Landung und das ihr da stehen durftet oder wäre das der Preis für die 2-3 Tage gewesen? - Lesson Learn: Was hättet ihr voerher machen können?
Der Handling Agent hat gesagt „basic handling“ sind € 350, also da war noch keine Landegebühr oder Parkgebühr inbegriffen, das wäre noch dazu gekommen. Wir haben mit ihm verhandelt und er hat uns gesagt wenn wir sofort wieder starten hat er uns nie gesehen 🤫 wir hätten vorher dem lokalen Flugclub schreiben können und um parking bei ihrem Gelände bitten können. Oder das Gebiet mit dem schlechten Wetter etwas großräumiger im Landesinneren umfliegen…
@@Flugabenteuer oki. Dann ist ja noch mal alles glatt gegangen. Da ich nur virtuell fliege ist das echt spannend so eine Tour von euch in relive qausi zu sehen. Super gut gemacht. War das von ATC ein wink mit dem Zaunpfahl bzgl. Service? Ich suche nachher mal die Stelle rsus. LG von EDLW
@@runner_do es ist an sich bei großen Flughäfen leider normal das es solche hohen Handling Gebühren gibt, es ist nur immer wieder eine Überraschung wie hoch oder niedrig die Gebühren dann sind.
