/ fans.flyleaf.chile / fans.flyleaf.chile Music Video for "All Around Me" Directed by Paul Fedor DP: Jim Hawkinson Producer: Laura Morris Editor: Anthony Cerniello
"It’s a song about meeting God. I remember looking at a bunch of people’s Myspace when I first saw Myspace and the ‘Who I’d Like To Meet’ the number one thing people picked was God. I think about that. I don’t know how many times I’ve experienced something where I felt like God showed up and saved me or loved me for no reason sometimes. That’s why I sing this song, I sing it to God. It’s really intimate as well, you can think about it as a relationship between two people in love, too. I never think about it that way, but what’s so cool about that is I think there’s parallels everywhere - in everything in life. I think that that parallel is something that God wants to communicate to us, that he gives us relationships like that, an intimacy like that." - Lacey Sturm
I found Flyleaf and Lacey back in '06- and consequently fell in love with this type of music, over 12 years later going into 2019 I have still yet to find anything as amazing as this.
Everything here looks way more intense. The paint falling look more realistic, Lacey seems to be moving more intensely, and we get more shots of the raining scene, paint falling, and the other members of the band, and we even got a small shot of Lacey smiling :3 This seems like a raw version, I remember this version better than the official version
I never seen this before and you'll actually see what the filming is really doing / this corresponds more with flyleaf's live show I went to ... even though I had my eyes closed the whole time while head banging
lol I just noticed the dude fell, but then again I think since it was all white they had on and white Walsh they were only able to do the paint scene in one take cuz it'll be impossible to take that paint all off an start over
Wow its amazing how the difference in this music video changes the tone of the song lol this on looks more happy and less intimate haha the other is more desperate, urgent, and intense
Ya know, since. I was looking forward for this song to uplift God, I now must realize it truly -IS- the apocolyps since a buncha satanic jokers decided to make the whole video rain blood as she sang of being surrounded by the Spirit of the Holy Ghost. So...Well, Here's to Opus, life is life!
Don't Christians believe that through the blood of Christ you can be saved? Didn't God demand blood and animal sacrifices in old testament times? You should learn more about your faith before you start spouting off about Satanism
