My great-nan Gladys Kirby passed at 7am today (16th February) aged 86. Even when she could barely breathe, she smiled at us, that will be my lasting memory of her, a truly remarkable person and i thank God that He has welcomed her to his kingdom where she can't be in pain anymore. This song i dedicate to her

Lacey's voce is beautiful, the boys play a beautiful tune, but my favorite part is the message that they all try to send to their listenrs

Love it. I will not quit searching until I find someone in my town who is also a Flyleaf fan. Someone has to appreciate this stuff out there that I know...one day if I'm lucky.

I want this song to be played at my funeral. To let people know that despite death, there is hope in the end.

I love their acoustics... I mean, I dig that Lacey is a chick that can and is willing to scream, because there just aren't enough in the rock world (nor will there ever be). But when they slow it down and quiet it down like this, there's just such serenity in the music. It's so soothing and touching.

Just because someone doesn't like a song, doesn't mean they need to die painfully. Like, really...

i don't think in my opinion that the song is intended to be sad, but to show that god is love and mercy and even when you are in your darkest hour god is there if you just try to look and see his blessings for what they are.

I just sat here and silently cried the entire song... Both from how sad and how beautiful this song is

my grandfather died today that's why i'm listening this song with tears

This makes me think of a woman who lived down my street. She passed away recently after a battle with cancer. I think she was about 37 but she was still too young to die. Her husband is staying strong and the funeral is soon. I wish I could go but it's in school time. I don't know whether they prayed and she wasn't his mother but otherwise this song describes the situation. I prayed for them and, even now she's passed, I still pray. The way he loved her was so pure, he's shown me what true love-

I damn that Cancer that Took my mother away from me and my little sister 4 years ago but I believe she is in a better place... I still hung on to God, my little sister and I are seeperated now , I have not seen her in 3 years ... Im still hangiing on . He Deserves all we have and all the Praise we can give.

This song really gets to me because i have CDMS(chronic daily migraine sydrome) and my best friend logan has always been there for me. and the day i went in for surgery i woke up for the first time in almost a half a year where i didnt have headache. and he said "thank you for ending her" although my migraines are still not gone. this song reminds of how lucky i am to be alive and be around the ones i love.

you get more feeling from a song when its bare and naked like this and you also get to connect with artist i love flyleaf

Way better than the original. This song made me look at things differently. I cant stop listening to it. It's my favorite song. It's better then half the crap we hear today about drugs and sex. This type of music is amazing. It's just an awesome song.

@AprilBlazze Why do they need to die painfully? The message they're giving in this song should prevent you from saying these things. Supernatural patience, my friend. Forgive them and let them make their own choices. They only clicked dislike and we should accept that and only care about the positive things in life, like this amazing and very beautiful song. It burns into me and reminds me of tough times, it helped me to follow the words of this song and be patient, despite pain and sorrow

All these people keep saying they like this version better. I like the studio version better. The guitars are dreamy and the vocals are massive and passionate. It just kinda explodes into the chorus that actually makes the vibe feel.. well.. supernatural. not saying I don’t like this. I like everything Flyleaf put out with Lacey.
