Before you people start hating, do some darn research. They are basically a tribute band dedicated to "keep their nu-metal sound alive." They want to preserve what they crafted in their own way. Yeah, Flymore sounds like Korn but thats basically the point. It's a respect type of thing. Much love to both bands and others alike.
@@verzerof5904 I'm not keen on bands that copy 1 to 1 what someone else has done without adding anything from themselves. Of course, you can be inspired by someone's work but what Flymore do is a carbon copy, not an inspiration. Even the aforementioned KoRn tries to evolve and develop their style. Flymore, no, they took KoRn's well-known and well-loved style and started doing exactly the same thing without any input from themselves, they might as well be a cover band. The situation is similar with Greta Van Fleet - they copy Led Zeppelin's style 1:1.
@@сашавасиленко-у3э Nikita Khrushchev touted the expansion of corn cultivation as a solution to the livestock problem and seed corn was imported from the United States. So, since Korn are from the USA and Flymore are from Russia and they sound similar to Korn it's funny to call them Soviet Korn.
This is marvellous, They used their own music, their own lyrics, But the style is completely Korn .... Best Tribute to ever ... They Make an Album of Korn Without Korn. Totally impressive. Now i'm just waiting for a featuring, Flymore & Korn in a massive huge live. Flymore - KoRn > The KoRn MoRe Tour Souds great isn't it ?
Awesome song, awesome video, I don't give a shit if they're a KoRn rip off, this is sooo badass, I think we all love old school KoRn, so why be mad for getting more of it? it's not a cheap copy, this is KoRn at the top of their game, their best, just like Issues or Follow The Leader.
It is. Plus Korn should feel honored having people who go after their dream an get influenced by them. Sad people call them ripoffs I'd call it a great band that gives back great memories. An maybe korn will step up their game more too. Both are great.
KoRn sounds like no other nu metal band to me, but these guys are undeniably similar. Linkin Park has their own sound, Def tones have their own sound, Slipknot has their own sound, static x and korn all have their own sound. So no not all nu metal bands sound alike. but this is still pretty good i like the guitar alot
Also check out the band "Maja" and their album "Surprise Inside"'; "Captor" and their album "Alien Six"; "Creepy Crawl" and their album Cow Killer Wasp"; "Gazzoleen" and their album "Tiny Bears"; and the band "Seep" and their album "Simon Says". Most or all of these albums can be found on the YT channel by Amenitysound (awesome guy! He also has hundreds of other nu-metal bands on there). These bands also have that 'korn' sound or influence, but with more 'uniqueness'.
Oh and Travail's "Beautiful Loneliness" posted by Ishkoo; and Gyrp's album "Indecision" posted by chemobrat22. Sorry lol! There's just too many bands and they're all so good! XP. There's also Furykane... alright, I'll stop xD
That is a misconception in the heavy music scene. U basically said what Dez Farfara said none of those bands sounded the same. I feel like people whom say that are not fans of nu metal or if they are they're not true fans because if you listen to everything nu metal you'll catch on fast and hear different things in each band for example I have never heard anyone copy Limp Bizkit and I am aware of hed PE but HPE is more akin to hardcore/rapcore flavor of nu metal now to a person that thinks "all nu metal bands sound the same" they won't hear different sounds and styles because of being ignorant obviously
Fun Fact: during the interview when they were talking about bands that inspired them, they never mentioned Korn 😂 maybe they are from another universe where Korn never existed. 🤷♂️
+AdoptableBark actually the singer is NOT his brother. This is another dude. His brother well half brother is the singer for adema. This dude from fly more is from the United Kingdom.
they did and almost got sued.look up asylum, they literally stole the background music korj did for the untouchabkes promotional website home.page back on 2002.
Huh Flymore.. recommended me to a colleague from work from a real men's typical workplace :D (we grind gearboxes for trains). And I think they're pretty sick band!! This is such a beautiful "spin-off" KoRn. It doesn't often happen that I really like so many songs from the album. But somewhere inside, I feel like I heard them in that 2006.
Try this band from Philippines name Slapshock Slapshock was an Filipino heavy metal band from Metro Manila. They were formed in 1997, originally as a nu metal act, with their early musical style compared to that of Korn.
People need to stop looking at them as a rip off of Korn or "Copy Cats". They are loudly and proudly showing their influences, and their should be nothing wrong with that. Being a musician and having a favorite band/bands leads to your music sounding similar to theirs but with your own twist. And that's exactly what these guys are. They love the nu-metal genre, are from Russia, so they want to probably even show off more their Korny sound to get America to rage over them. So instead of bashing and calling them rip offs, look at them as a re-incarnated Korn that actually sounds good.
+Joe Jackson What do you mean it's not the Korns? That singer looks just like Jo-nathan and the bassist, Flabby along with Monkey Head? Surely you're pulling my dreads with your comment?
Yeah i heard it but it just hasn't bin the same since Head, and David left the band its just not as hardcore. in that song you don't hear the slap of the bass strings, or the guitar at all its upsetting. korn was the pioneers of nu metal and now they do...dub step. its like they almost completely changed the only thing that is recognizable in that band anymore is Johnathan Davis' voice.
YogiYula i have to agree their new album is not that bad, and no more dubstep, but "Never Never" is far from good compared to the songs "What we do" and "Spike in my veins", "Never Never" is just a song that i skip when it starts playing....
Andrew Phillips Why? his drumming on Untouchables wasnt that amazing. See you on the other side was just a generic drum machine. Take a look in the mirror was his last real drum work and it wasnt that impressive... So he'd just hold them back. His drumming on Life is peachy was incredibly unique and impressive thanks to alot of cocaine and speed.
Im absofuckinglutely in love with this sound ... Sounds like john. I like their style ,im both a fan of flymore and korn , Keep doing what you guys are doing , ill follow!
I find it really funny that most of you think they are rip-offs. Come the fuck on Yeah they sound ALOT like KoRn, if not they sound EXACTLY like KoRn, but that doesn't mean they are rip-offs I mean you don't see these guys re-using lyrics and totally stealing riffs that sound 100% like KoRn's riffs Of course they sound identical, when someone's influenced by a band, what the fuck do you think their music is gonna sound like?? Man so far I love these guys and I love KoRn too These guys are a direct reincarnation of what KoRn used to be, hopefully somewhere along the line they can collaborate These guys keep Nu-Metal alive But until then most of you Bitchin about it can shut the fuck up and enjoy the music
I hate to call these guys copy cats but if I've ever heard a band sound remotely close to Korn these guys take the cake and they do it very well. Really like their sound, this is the first I've heard of this band now I must go listen to more.
russian version or koRn and it is just flawless i have been a koRn fan since the first album release i remember seeing them play in a bar in sacramento california in 1994 when they were still finding their sound out and possibly saw some tracks koRn doesnt play anymore. Flymore is one thing that i absolutely like to hear on a daily just because this brings back memories for me.
wow i played this without know who they were and wasnt really watching the video and i thought jonathan davis had a sideproject lol.... its cool to see that Nu-Metal is still alive. and for the haters.. if they grew up listening to korn and such its obviously going to reflect in their musick. Its called being INFLUENCED.
I sure wish KoRn would get their shit together and create more music like this. They were the originators of this badass sound. It looks like KoRn fell off track and FlyMore kept it going.
I use to hate this band years ago calling them Korn ripoffs, though now I do believe Korn's an influence, this band right here is keeping nu-metal alive, in which i'm glad to see, the good style of nu-metal.
This is a great track, in fact all their songs are pretty dam good, now I'm as big a KoRn fan as they come and its easy to see or should I say hear that flymore are heavily influenced by KoRn and that's kool as they have influenced so many great bands sure as drowning pool limp bizkit linkin park disturbed orgy seven dust and on and on and on but the difference here is and I know to to be right as I've seen all these bands including flymore live and like you all seen there videos all the above bands have their own style and sound where as flymore do perform like a KoRn tribute band, they seem to move the same on stage and in their video's and this will always hold them back.
Alright, Lets the state the obvious facts here, Start with the Singer. Headbangs like jd, sounds like jd, trying to look like jd, even down to the way he pushes his hair out of his face, holds the mic the same next. the guitarists, They play in the style of Korn, Headbang like head and munky do, with their unmistakable half body thing they do, They Play Ibanez K7's (Korns Custom 7-strings) The drummer, with the hair the same as david, and the white wife beaters, cmon Flymore is trying to be korn, they dont just love them, they are OBSESSED. now all that aside, They do it well. thankfully they do write original songs. meaning lyrics and riffs, what band hasnt taken a riff or 2 from other bands. on that note, i think they should play a couple korn covers.. just to see how closely they emulate korn.
i do miss the old korn tunes , but i see this band as a sorta tribute band to korn of the 90 which was f**kin amazing as u all know , ill always buy korn albums there changing with times as everyone does , i also still follow head aka welchy , and am lovin his new album so far ,
@tixan ow wow ur correct they both dont have a pencil this mustache combined with dreds and carry themselves in a particular sway and tuck motion on stage wtf we were all wrong woe is me how could we have thought such a thing man its a good this you seen him irl becuase when i met him backstage "98" he had a verry sim style, i must have gotten hammered long before the concert that i just arrived to wow ty ill never get wasted water and coffe before i got to my most favorite bands concert again!
+Nikola Markovic It doesn't sound like they locked themselves in a room, high on meth, and just played what came to mind. Their new stuff has been sounding like it is staged and forced.
I think the real problem is that Flymore creates good music and some people are jealous that it sounds good. Korn doesnt have patent on numetal and this is how the real numetal sounds like, love it or hate it. Btw, i'm pretty sure korn had their sound from some other bands.. let's see.. SexAct that was more heavy? It was the original JD band, Korn just made that sound more soft and mainstream and maybe more headbangable.
Really what gets me is the people saying Korn fans shouldn't listen to this Even if it is a copy, I prefer heavily inspired. You have to admit that the sound we fell in love with isn't what we hear now, dubstep? Come on. Now Korn needs a step ladder to tie ttheir shoes.
I would like play this to Jonathan... Curious what they all band would say... About. This total russian cover almost.. :-) They would laughing i guess...:-)
They are only replacing what Korn is SUPPOSED to sound like. I'm glad someone else had to step up from the plate and create just as good music as Korn did! *applause*
''MUNKY: It was more or less the concept and everyone coming to an agreement that we would try this and see how it went. Jonathan came to me backstage at one of our shows last year and started playing me some Skrillex tracks from his Scary Monsters album, and I was like, "Wow, this is really cool and fresh."'' ....So...yes...Jon IS the one who did this sh*t to the band, but since they aren't even doing dubstep anymore, it doesnt matter
