I love colleen but I think Eric has a point about her shopping. Shes buying into fast fashion, which is one of the biggest contributors to landfill. Colleen is in the financial position to be able to buy high quality items which you know will last a longgg time. However, she’s buying into the industry which is so toxic. The clothes won’t last long, it’ll contribute to landfill. The workers are paid little to none, often are child labourers (wonder why stuff from those stores are so cheap?) I’m not attacking her, I just want colleen and other people in her position to be more informed about the detriments of the fast fashion industry.
abbey I totally agree with you, it’s up to her how she spends her money but it’s so damaging to the environment and they’re also packaged in a heck of a lot of plastic :(

I like that Erik is being honest that he doesn't like the bathingsuits, most (not all but most) boyfriends/husbands would just go along with whatever their significant other thought about them and it's refreshing to hear him say that they're not cute because it's his honest opinion.
I'm with Erik, you ARE buying garbage. Like, it's cute garbage, sure, but still. Fast fashion is so wasteful and bad for the environment. Buy a few quality pieces that will last you years!

@nightmares shopping of course doesn't do any harm. It is what you are buying that is doing the harm. Fast fashion isn't produced properly, meaning often times the conditions under which they are being made are disastrous, people who make them are often times underpaid, underaged and overworked. The material that is often times being used in fast fashion products is made mostly out of plastic and not meant to be durable, which means tossing them adds to the landfill because they can't be properly recycled because it is such poor quality and on the other hand the because the quality is so poorly it won't last a very long time meaning you will have to buy more to replace those badly made clothes. Often times these clothes are produced overseas in Asian countries where they don't have to adhere to labour laws by which European or US American producers have to abide. That they come from overseas add a whole other level of climate concerns to this pile. So I hope you can see that there lies responsibility within the consumer who buys these fast fashion items... Therefore: doing harm

I agree with Erik. 🌎💕 One quality item is better than lots of plastic bags made in unethical factories with bad working conditions. I also love that you wear clothes MULTIPLE times like a normal human.
I would buy Flynn the bonds crawler pants! They are great and you can put knee pads over the top for extra padding. They are so good for an aggressive crawler! ( take it from a mumma in a similar situation who has tried EVERYTHING)
Still loving the shorter hair, Colleen. Erik’s right about the hair. Also, he’s right about the H&M/F21 crud compared to buying quality stuff. That said, the one-piece swimsuit *is* fun. (Very 80s workout-y!)
I love that you wear that sweater all the time. 😂 That’s how I do too. I have my favorite clothes that I look good and feel good in, and I wear them all the time.
Oh the swimwear IS cute, feel like it will suit you really well! Also, YES of COURSE everybody wears their clothes more than once, in fact, not everyone has 33662 clothes to switch around. I’m in America, I just count the days on a calendar differently than most people. For example, I would say there are five days until Christmas Day because I don’t count today cause there’s already half the day gone

I wore a dryer sheet stuck to my back all day once. Not one person said anything! All day. I saw it when i took the shirt off that night when i took a bath and my clothes were laying on the bathroom floor. No one said ANYTHING. ALL DAY!
