Hi, thanks for the presentation. Can you please review the FS-iBC01 current/voltage sensor in the future? Also how the data retrieval from this sensor works. Is there computer software for this or can it be done on the radio?

Nice video on the FlySky paladin and accessories . still a steep learning curve for me so any info on this system is appreciated. Hope you will do more videos on the Paladin in the future. I think the computer interface (my biggest issue) is the most challenging aspect, and of course the logical switches that I still can't figure out. thanks again!

The logical switches are a little odd. I've tinkered with them and have used them once or twice, but it's a little cumbersome.

@@RCVideoReviews The only logical switch that I would really ever use a lot is the same “condition” you posted on the open TX with the failsafe throttle cut. That is an awesome enhancement for the throttle cut I n my opinion.

Is it also possible to save the sensor data as plain text so that the flight telemetry data can be analyzed later in another software, for example in Excel or to import GPS track data into some GIS software

Not sure. Check out the HobbyEagle A3 Super 4 though. You can find them for about $30 and they are wonderful.

Sounds like you can only use 2 sensors at a time. Is this correct?

BVD appears to be internal to RX and will work with sensors connected on NPx ports (2 on this Rx) Sensors cannot be daisy chained. When connected in parallel, neither show up.

Man I just wish FlySky would make both a pitot tube IAS/TAS sensor and a "universal sensor" that can accept one or more values from a home made sensor (say an Arduino) and send it to the radio as telemetry.

Have you tried connecting 2 sensors to the same IBUS2 port via a Y-cable?

It comes with a small sheet of reflective tape. So if you're having an issue with the reading, you can apply the tape. There is no sensor configuration option on FlySky radio firmware.

Probably less about the protocol and more about the antenna and erp. FRM303 is allegedly good for 35km at 2w.

hi John, you will probably find the inline resister is actually a picofuse , Futaba has the same setup on their 70v batt telemetry

Hmm...it's shaped like a resistor. There's a way to make these for s.port that uses a resistor as well. And one of the Edge developers told me: "the best way to installed the bvd is to have the resistor installed near the battery" I'll see what I can find out from FlySky.

.@@RCVideoReviewshmmm.... yes, these fuses are shaped like a resistor. a resistor could and should be placed on the board , however a fuse is best placed where it can be serviced. I'm not saying that some of these designs are copied from other manufacturers , however i am willing to bet Au$2.00 that they are a green colour.
