As a long time FW user, if you are flying this in GPS mode, please be careful. It's not if, but when the GPS will disconnect placing you in a dangerous situation causing a crash or a fly away never to be seen again. The only way to save it is to immediately flip the switch into manual/3D mode, and if you don't know how to fly in 3D mode, your toast.
I just ordered one this morning. I have a Blade 330 S and several collective pitch helicopters but I always feel anxious when flying fast and keep thinking “Just don’t crash”. GPS haters can say what they want about these but the Flywing GPS helicopters are much more relaxing to fly and I never worry about crashing. I have the FW200 and FW450 v3 and I am excited about the FW Bell 206 v3. Prettiest helicopter I have seen.
I have been flying RC helis for 30 years and had the 90 size nitros did all the 3D comps etc but these GPS helis are great thing as people who are not experienced can enjoy them as the pilot and spectator too. I bought the smaller Navy version with GPS but love the Bell 206.
I have a Big 1/8 scale Electric Sky-crane Helicopter and it is hard to fly above more than a few feet but at Altitude I crash it every time and it always break something so now it just sits on a shelf in my shop collecting dust. Good Luck and Have Fun.
Gyro is outdated, it has hard time with the slightest breeze, props are like $10 and after the 4th crash I parked it, it was fun though. I am a Big Boy in my 60's and I still Love Toys@@gasquetmike8320
This is a very nice looking scale heli! Great that a drone pilot can fly it easily and it will be well for beginners with helis. Traditional CP helis without GPS are great fun to fly once you have learned it but they have scared away too many new pilots because they are so difficult to fly. I met several very experienced RC fixed wing pilots giving up on helis frustrated after crashing all the time. For sure these easy to fly helis are bring in much more new pilots, which is a great thing! Great video with the drone footage!!
I think I'd have tried flying it at Pacific Shores or some such place. Softer landings in the event of a crash, no power lines, no traffic, some distracted driver could easily cause a wreck. However, you appear to be a much better pilot the myself. Nice job.👍🤚❤❤❤
This nothing compared to Blade 330s these are GPS Helicopters and verry stable Blade helis they wanna dance they require a lot more stick movements these are so scale flying 💯
