Hello meme page, it has been a while, so nice to see you again. A trip back to the Zealand reddit to check up on how everything is doing over there and make sure you all aren’t getting too carried away with Football Manager memery or memes about me either. Those do get carried away sometimes and we have to keep them under control or something.
The subreddit is a very fun place I hope you are able to join it. It is where the whole community can hang out when I am not streaming, ask FM questions, and make light of the pain that Football Manager inflicts upon us on a very regular basis.

Bruno was a legend for that one though fr, he was the first player from a Super League club to say SOMETHING against the idea. And the broken English meant it came straight from him, not through some PR team or whatever. The day that happened even rival fans on r/soccer were singing praises for him lol.

That promotion question was funny cause I did something recently with Brighton. Made an Erik ten hag 4231 formation that morphs into a 316 and I was on top of the PL from pretty early on and I was like "yeah, it won't last" and by March I was still top and I'm like "woah, I cannot be qualifyinv for the champions league now". I almost wanted to fail but it was like unprecedented. And now, I'm facing reg issues for champions league. It was still cool. Only lost one game. Man UTD away

Every so often, I check transfermarkt to see if Raphael Lea'i has made a transfer to a team he deserves. I had not checked since his transfer, and I'm so glad I found out via this channel. Velez Mostar for the 2023/24 Europa Conference League. I watched Solomon Islands whole WC qualifying campaign (except the Cook Islands game, as I was in a lecture) because of this channel. I don't understand why they went for the possession domination tactics in the final vs New Zealand considering they were so deadly on the counter attack vs Tahiti and New Zealand were struggling to break down low block defences, but Lea'i still managed to impress

I made the Bundesliga with a wage budget of five million euro (would be second last in the 3. Liga) and made it to 8th, narrowly missing qualification for the Euro Cup. Promotion is always good and you'll be surprised how far a team of shit players that fit your tactic with good cohesion and morale can take you.

Anyone has any advice on how to break down opponents that play defensive lower line in H2H? Switching from a more tempo oriented, direct style to more of a tiki-taka, slow the game down and hope one of the long shots finally rips or you manage to break them down eventually? Core is really solid with a 442/424DM unfortunately

4:10 *Y E S* In my save (at this point my only save in the entire game) with my home town team I'm have risen from the 3. Liga to the Bundesliga and became the best club in the world by 2033-2035. The highest fee ive have ever paid in FM23 was 45.5 million€ which is 20 Million euro more than the second most expensive signing. My center back just suddenly died (10 months injury) and I NEEDED a new defender. He was an 18 year old super talent (future home grown ftw) and almost as good as the regulars. It was a super dire situation. I would have never made that deal otherwise. I'm kinda proud, I have a transfer surplus of 400 million euro (1.1 bio€ vs 1.5 bio€), hundreds of millions in the bank, had a new stadium by 2031 and expanded it IMMEDIATELY in 2032 lmao I basically never buy for over 25 Mio. #FinancialResponsebilityIsCoolIGuess #TschörmansConsolidateBudgets4Fun

i need help asap. i have 2 strikers, one with 15 finishing and the other one with 18, but they just keep missing chances even 1 on 1 or with half of the goal open. last match a guy with just 8 finishing scored twice against me, one of those goals was a 1 on 1 he dribbled the goalkeeper and with no angle and a defender extremely close to him he scored anyway. it has been like this for the last 3 seasons with my stikers, i have really good strikers but they seem to be allergic to scoring. if someone knows what i can do to fix this i will be extremely grateful

In the second-to-last match before retirement... he got a red card. 7:43 In my FM23 Scarborough Athletic save, we got promoted to the Premier League at the same time Tottenham, our senior affiliate, got relegated to the Championship. Oddly, they were still my affiliate while they were one division below us. It was only broken once they returned.
