They lose people. They meet the best of humanity, and see them stripped away too soon. They've more than once had to remind each other that when the depths of despair come seeping around you, you have to beat the darkness away, fend it off, and at the end of the day, Let the monsters die and move on, But never let the loss of a friend turn you into one. They walk The Hero's Path. They have been hurt, over and over and over again, and if the times call for it, they would willingly lay down their lives to defend that which they hold dear from the Monsters they face. They take every blow that they can catch, so that no one else they love will have to again. And finally, they need each other. Nothing can separate these brothers from their other half, and if anything did, neither would be able to remain. Many parallels, indeed.

Gonna have to disagree, friend. They got stuck in the first dozen episodes and called it quits. Very shocking choose, given how intense the show gets.

It's a pretty great anime.

It is definitely one of my favorites of all time, it is on par with death note. Also the only anime to date my girlfriend liked so that should speak volumes that someone that doesnt like anime enjoyed it.
