i agree. it's a shame that the best resources are basically just jack love posts :P hopefully the video gets 300 likes because i actually want to make the videos lol
You have 300 likes now) It would be great to see a video on rewrites, as it's the most mysterious part of the solve for me, and I haven't seen much materials on it. I know how it works, but actually finding those rewrites without checking all the 0,1 etc moves options is another thing.
Hey Jayden, I was wondering about getting solve critiques. Would sending in what I think is a "good" solve or "bad "solve be better for coaching? Curious what your thoughts are.
Unless you're already quite fast (sub 8-9 for 3x3 or better), any batch of solves will work in my experience so long as there's no obvious mistakes (like mis solving your cross or an f2l pair when that's normally not an issue for you)
When you are re-writing to solve the 'E' layer, are you using rNISS? Or just trying combinations of the slice insertions that net solved centers to see what they do to the edges?
I personally write out the solution in full and place square brackets around the sequence of moves that could be reduced starting from the first quarter turn layer move to the last. From there it's mostly a matter of trial and error by replacing the moves in different ways
