Lets the see the equation from Company's end, how much ideal distributor/ retailer margin should be given in case of new product, a percentage that is not too high as manufacturer for us, but high enough to incentive distributor/ retailer to work with us. They do it for large Super Market chains like Big Bazaar, Spencers. Dmart etc. They supply directly to the Distribution Centres (DC)/Central Warehouse of these stores from where the stock is further distributed to their stores. FMCG companies don't do this for small supermarkets or Stand Alone Modern Trade stores.
