Once again, I love the long format. If people don’t stick around for all of the video? They are missing a lot of great content and entertainment. To get to know you, is to love ❤you 😂😂😂. Personally I love building and watching you build models. The NX8 setup is the biggest help to me now. Makes understanding a new radio much easier. Great video guys. FMS, great job. Thank you.

Beautiful detail. I bet the ordinance helps with CG if you're cramming twin 3300's in the battery hole. What a gorgeous EDF, though. Reverse thrust would be nice. But not a deal breaker. This reminds me of a GI Joe plane I had a million years ago as a kid. Love the video, as usual guys. Thanks for braving the icy winds in the maiden, too 👍

Hey words from friend to friend... CHECK Your Reflex module mounting point.. I just checked mine and it was attached with a loose plank of wood underneath it.. I took mine out and replaced it with AR8360T mounted upside-down just behind the canopy latch with 2-3M Gyro foam tape from horizon. I want to upgrade to Avian's for reverse thrust.... Last I checked the fuselage isn't wide enough for the massive size of both ESC's. I have recently got a Spektrum iX14, which I have upgraded from the Nx8 I'm keeping that for my backup Tx if I ever need to send it in for servicing/repair.

Watched your unbox build and setup video. Excellent! Worked flawlessly including the CG with the 5000 50C battery. My question is, how can I put the Reflex V2 on a switch so I can select no gyro, stabilization or optimization? I plugged it into CH 5 (gear) as in your vid, but it seems to only be in Optimized (like AS3X) mode. Can I do it with AR620?

YES, but you want that mode...you don't want it LOCKED in AUTO-LEVELING mode, but if you have to pick one to LOCK it into, since you're short on channels with just the AR620...then I would HIGHLY suggest setting it with GEAR (or any channel except throttle) then just unplugging it. If you want to use an AR8020T, you CAN get all the features, if I recall. All you have to do is pick a THREE position switch, and make sure to plug that associated channel into the MODE/PPM plug...to switch between STABILIZER, OFF, AUTO-LEVELING+STABILIZER bprc.me/FMS_A10 bprc.me/AR620 | bprc.me/AR8020T bprc.me/6S_5000 bprc.me/NX8

Hi. Just getting to grips with reflex and got a bit confused. Did you set up the model with permanent gyro on and no panic, so you could use only 6 channels?

@@fmsmodelRC Fuselage, main wing, and nose gear set would be great please. and on a side note i fly on a grass field all the gear are awesome but the main gear pods them, self's need a little more reinforcement. I ran two barbecue skewers one on each side of the retract all way through the gear pod and wing and glued it you guy could probably come up with something much better than this but really helps with the longevity of the pods when landing on a well manicured grass field.

"planes that are hard to load batteries into don't get flown much" True words! That's actually why I sold my E-Flite Turbo Timber. It flew fine, but it was just such a PITA to get the battery in and out.

You would LOVE the Turbo Timber EVO - TOP LOAD ;) That thing should have NEVER been a bottom load, especially as a water plane - RIGHT?!?!?! BUT still a sweet plane.
