Sir I’ve given up hopes for old IIMs. Is new/baby IIMs possible, my profile is 6/7/5, Arts background(male), obc category, 2 years gap, if yes then what could be a safe percentile for me to get into the new/baby IIMs and also will the gap year affect my summer internship if fortunately i got into an IIM?
Bhai - Abhi CAT is 8 months away , itna Kaise negative ho rahe ho ? IIM hone ke baad , internship nahi lagegi? You have bad Acads I understand , Theek hai being realistic is good. But let god give a chance to you ? I would only recommend you one thing - Take ownership in things what you have in hand , what u don’t have let the time unfold for you. 99.99 percentile will get you JBIMS ( no questions asked ) direct admission. 99 plus - FMS call for sure ( they don’t ask anything in Round 1 ). And about IIMs - give your best shot at CAT , other option is “ chod do “ prep. Mat karo ( simple ) If later is not happening , “ toh lag jao and Let the IIM reject you “ don’t reject yourself.
