Jang Uk fell for Naksu knowing she is a soul shifter and an assassin, and how he thinks she died, but she came back from dead, this time with her true face.
I've been waiting for someone to edit them using this song because the lyrics, especially the chorus, really match their love story. "This love is good, this love is bad, this love is alive back from the dead. This hand had to let it go free, this love came back to me." Their love for each each other was both good and bad. As it was able to save both of them from the pain and suffering that they both experienced, that love can also be the reason to bring them to their own deaths. And when the time came where they needed to let go of each other's hands, they both ended up facing death on the same day. But at the end of the day, fate itself saved them and brought them back together, as they are always meant to go back and meet each other again on the same path to continue and protect the love that they have for each other. As Master Lee said, "There is no need to force them together, for they are already walking the same path of fate." (PS. This is literally one of the best edits that i've watched!!!)

I really don’t like s2, Nakuru is totally different. Now she’s powerless and passive, that is not Naksu. That is why I don’t understand how Jane Uk fell in love, they are opposite. In S1 Naksu was an incredibly character (powerful, passionate, sweet,funny) and now you are telling me that he fell for this girl who apparently is Naksu. And also make me feel that he doesn’t love her anymore (mudeok)
Naksu is not only made up of her strength. you clearly didn't pay attention to the entire plot of the show Jang UK didn't fall for her strength he fell for her personality and quirks which he falls for again in season 2. because her way of behaving and personality traits still express themselves in season 2 because that is what makes Naksu herself and that is the woman and soul Jang Uk fell for twice. Jang Uk admired her strength in a teacher-pupil way but it was not the factor that made their relationship progress from teacher-pupil to lovers. if you miss Jung Somin as an actress just say that don't try to twist the writing of the show to back up lies
Of course she would be different this time because she lost her memories. In Part 1, she has the drive to avenge her family as Jinmu brainwashed her into thinking that it was the four main family mages' fault. Jinmu then, used her and trained her to be an assassin. Now that she has no memories of it, will you be expecting her to behave exactly as she was in Part 1? This would be her personality if she did not meet Jinmu all along. If you see how she and Jang Uk bicker, she was still the Naksu we know. 😊
I understand your feeling but don't forget that Mudeok's inner thoughts were of Naksu's. He loved the same soul again and again even though he did not know it was actually Naksu.
I’ve been watching lots of fmv to the point that I’ve been analyzing for when did he started to know exactly she was naksu all along and I think it was from the very first moment like the deconstruction of the stone tower…. 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 idk about others but i think there are possibilities
