He rejected her because he thinks that his brother died because of him and he isn't worthy of being loved, I hate when people hate themselves for no reason (like why , its not because of you ) , my bother-in-law blames himself for his family problems even when he is an angle. I feel sad when i see people like this , don't hate yourself because it breaks heart's of those who loves you.
I know what you mean but it was more like he thought he wasn't responsible and isn't capable of caring and protecting the people he loved. SPOILER!!!! His mind was like have he not called his brother out that day then he prolly wouldn't have met with the accident. I understand where he comes from you know
I loved this series. The casting was superb and I related to most of the characters. You really get to know them. My favorites were Baek Dong-Joo, her dad, and Uncle Vincent, but I liked so many more. I'm new to K-Dramas and don't speak Korean, but I really got into this one.

That's when you know what type of person you are. I'm a superficial person who loves herself too much. If I swallow my pride and confess to someone and get rejected, then its all over. I can never get over that embarrassment and accept his explanations or change of feelings.😂😅

@@devika619 he didn't blame her. He blamed himself, and didn't want to go back to his old life, so he broke up with her. But I wish he would have sat down and talked to her better about it.
I had one problem with this drama and that was his whole trauma thing!! There was one point where i had enough!! Like he breaks up with his ex bcz of his bro which she has nothing to do with, like whats her fault? She loved him so much! She even ask him that she’ll wait until he recovers and she did, writers intentionally tried to make her look annoying so we wont get second female lead syndrome but his reason makes no sense, and if he wasnt ready for his love life why was he flirting with female lead
OMG THISS I am into the 9th episode of the show and I can't stand the male lead at all. He literally pushed away the second female lead cuz of his whole "I am disgusted by myself" trauma thing when she was lit there for him and he has the audacity to say that he wishes the female lead was with him during the past so it'd be better. For what? for him to push her away like he did to his ex? He's such a red flag. I'm trying the my hardest not to hate his character atp
Look he can't go back to that life anymore. Just imagine your little brother dying in your hand... And it's because you wanted to propose to your girlfriend... It's easy to say who goes through this knows the real pain. Some people just can't trust again that they deserve love.
@@mariya__809 his brother dying was not because of her or because he wanted to propose to her, it was an accident - no one could have affected it in anyway. Also, if he was so on the "I don't think I deserve love" phase, why would he be so desperate to be w the main lead girl? He was so rude to the second lead whenever she tried to reach out to him only to go flirt around with someone else.

How dense can you people be? he broke up with her and thats it, he owes her nothing, she had not right to intrude into his life TWO YEARS LATER like theyre still together trying to get him back out of guilt even going as far as insulting her own mother and saying shes going to kill someone so he would take her back.

The male lead is so annoying. He pushed his ex away and broke up with her for no reason but tries to get into the female leads pants every chance he gets. I mean, if he wants to forget his whole trauma phase and leave people from that time behind, he could have atleast been nice and given a closure to the second lead. Everytime she tried to approach him, he treated her like shit even though she didn't do anything wrong. His whole character is absolutely disgusting.
