Spoiler alert - the barrels on these "military collector's" edition carbine's are 4140, not Mil-B-11595E (4150 cmv) FN really screwed a lot of people with these. Some were paying upwards of 2 grand for rifle with the same barrel steel of a s&w m&p sport... Horrible.
@@j.james-88 it was a strange decision from FN to cheap out on the barrel, collectors would have been happy to pay for the difference. I'm guessing they figured 90% of buyers would never notice or need to worry about it if they are not putting 10k rounds through the barrel. But agree it does hurt the overall authenticity of the rifle when FN claims its the same as what they issue to the military.
Congratulations man!!! Make sure to keep hold of! These will be VERY valuable in a short time! My M4s that I deployed with were all FNH. Only my M4a1 was a colt.
I have the same rifle and i love it i took the bird cage off and put a surefire closed tine so i could put my surefire rc2 mini on it and it has a trijicon acog thats probably all i will do to it . FN did a good job about hiding were they pin and welded it but i found it anyway
I have 5 Colts like this same everything but I still want the FN also. I got Colts because I could get an OEM 1 and put the furniture on and spend less. They're awesome but it didnt satisfy my FN hunger. Omg
A Colt will give you a lifetime of regret. If you ever get rid of it. I had some early SP-1 rifles and I made a good profit in the nineties selling ,but still regret that move.
Damn yea I thought they stopped making those as well. I’m really interested to see the comparison vids. My only issue is there at least 300 more then the colts. Not sure if I would buy one or not. It does make me want one. Lol good vid man. I did look online looks like there in stock at a lot of places so I guess there back in production
@@TheMilsurpMan I built a few rifles myself and I have an m4 clone in the making and Id love if they’d sell just the rail. Had success and misses buying used however. Mostly because it’s harder for me to drop the entire 2k on a rifle sometimes haha Thats a nice ass rifle brother
@@samadams4070 There may be an increase in the number of murders due to irresponsible people who have such weapons, and controlling this mass in a chaotic environment that may occur may cause serious problems.
