made with ezvid, free download at ezvid.com This is the P90 personal defense weapon (PDW) made by FN Herstal. It fires the 5.7x28mm round made by FN for the P90 as well as the Five-seveN handgun. The program used to simulate it is World of Guns: Gun Disassembly, available for free on Steam.

For those curious why this would need to be a thing.. P90s are extremely small and compact. They put the magazine INSIDE the gun so that it reaches maximum compactibility AND holds a lot of bullets It's pretty cool

I think this magazine system might reduce recoil too, because bullets and magazine spring moves same direction as pipe and not upwards.

Jukka Muhonen nope. If you want recoil reduction you use a Bullpup design. There are also other compact guns. My personal favorite is the Kriss Vector I believe. *misspelled it : (

Same here. I always figured the round part that feeds the rounds into the firing chamber was spinning, but I guess that’s not the case at all.

I would expect a design such as the p90, with the unique mechanism that feeds each bullet into the receiver, at such a rapped rate, to jam a lot. it amazes me how efficient it is, props to whoever thought of it

Funny you should mention that... I just watched O'Neill talking up his P90 to the Russians - who prefer Zastava M85s - in S05E08 and I thought I'd pause to get more details about the gun. I knew it was a cool gun - but I didn't realize the bullets did that unique rotation...

Not the p90 but when the first halo game was being made they had to come up with a bunch of sci fi guns that still look like guns. Very shortly after they finalized the classic assault rifle design, FN came out with the FN 2000, which in appearance was pretty close to the final design in the game (without the ammo counter.)

I love how the you could also easily check how much ammo you have left. a transparent magazine placed right on top of the gun. no need for that fancy powered ammo counter from the Aliens movie. everything about is genius

Small compact, fires a sub-rifle caliber 5.7x28mm which is big enough to (imo) be a small rifle caliber high rate of fire, 50+ internal mag clips, couldn't ask for a better PDW though it's not the only one, I'd still take this anyday.

Cool video, in some videos i've seen, loading P90 like that with a modern mag is just ingenious, perfect weapon.. Mind that I’m from a country, where such guns are illegal, or hard to come by.
