If they used different sculpts for the withered it wouldn't make sense considering that there's a higher chance of this movie being a sequel than a prequel so it wouldn't make sense if they're endos changed from 01 to 02 and for their faces and proportions to change majorly. So it would make more sense if they re-used the fnaf 1
@WeeDefault it won't take 9 years because the reason why it was in production hell is because coming up with a good script that fit fnaf was difficult. Now that the first movie is released they have a clear direction to follow
The first movie's animatronic costumes were specifically made to hide any signs of there being a stunt performer inside, so we can expect when or if they make the withered animatronics - There'll probably be a lot more CGI utilized to make them come truly to life.
True or hear me out… actual animatronics. They would be like how Foxy was implemented in the first movie, don’t show the whole body at once when they’re moving, and don’t have them do any drastic movement. The more likely option is a mix of stunt performers, animatronics, and cgi. That’s just a theory though…
Going based off of the games and Matpat’s obsession with robot animal feet, they will more than likely create new models for the withereds, because they have two toes instead of three, and they’re also just bigger animatronics
I'm all for the delay because this is for the best reasons. I want this movie to be as great as possible ! Even in this miniature state, you can tell they are once again putting big efforts to bring the animatronics to live.
I'd imagine it's gonna be like Foxy. A puppet that's easily taken apart for some scenes. I just hope we see her walking on the ceiling and biting someone
I honestly am both glad and upset at the first bit of news, but on the bright side, it’ll give an undeniable boost of quality upon release. I wonder if we’ll be getting young Vanessa in this, if they’re still sticking to the lore timeline-wise, as it was a prequel. As for ideas on how to expand the FNAF cinematic universe, my ideas would be: a Fazbear’s Frights TV show with an episode based on each book, a SB/ruin movie in which Gregory might be a descendant of Mike; Cassie’s with him when he first gets trapped; and possibly some interactions between Freddy and Monty and their history with Bonnie, and finally a FNAF 4 short movie or full-length film in which it would be Mike or Abby (or both) still recovering from the events of the first movie, and these nightmares are basically their trauma getting the best of them, especially Mike.
I’d be ok with anything as long as Ness the waiter/Matpat’s character becomes the phone guy I’d love to see Matpat going hello? Hello, Hello? On the big screen
I’m going to be completely honest after the first movie was released and it was guaranteed we would be getting this second movie the number one thing I was both excited yet pretty nervous about was how they were going to pull of Mangle in live action like would he be all practical or will she be a blend of practical and cgi and now knowing their aiming to do him justice is going to be incredible to see 😊😊😊
Mangle has been my favorite character recently, so this was really cool to see drop out of nowhere. I'm a little disappointed they didn't go with the curved fur tufts like in Special Delivery, but that's just a nitpick, although I feel like it further fits the personality he was given in that game. It also would've been a nice, small tribute to that game.
We know the movie is coming. If they need more time building the animatronics, rewrites and set pieces, that’s fine by me! Jim Henson’s creature shop is going to steal the show again with their animatronic designs. Take as much time as they need! So excited for the FNAF 2 movie news towards the end of the year!

I would actually like to see a tv series on the fazbear frights and tales of the pizzaplex books, my only thing they would change is to put stuff from CTW in order and not just jumping around between inside Ft. Freddy and the events before that, also it will be cool if they make that episode a bit darker if they brought Tim Burton along with the filming of the episode and bring Kellen Goff to voice him again nearly 10 years ago
I COULDN'T be more excited for the film!! Fnaf 2 is my favourite game and I can't wait to see it be brought to life! I just know that Mangle is not only going to look amazing but be amazing too! I hope they use elements from the game this time (like the mask) but even if they don't, I'm still excited to see what they do with the story they've built so far!
6:42 while i understand your concerns, it wouldn't make much sense to change the models for the withered animatronics, in-game the canonical reason behind the dradtic differences in the character's models is due to the fact that they are different models entirely, the ones that had the bodies stuffed in them, in the movie it was the fnaf 1 animatronics that had the bodies stuffed in them, and it seems like FNaF 2 is going to be taking place after the first film, so honestly doesn't make much sense to me
I’m definitely excited for this, not only the delay brings more potential and eventually something greater in store. But it’ll definitely be what’ll fans be hoping for! I’m quite happy to see the delay given this’ll make the movie even better, it takes time and quality, especially for the passion this will bring. I’m so excited when they’ll reveal later on how progress is going or if they’ll share some closing details in future! I can’t wait to watch it, it’s gonna be amazing just like the first one. ^ ^❤👍🪓

as much as I’d like to see the OG withered’s I wouldn’t call making the FNaF 1 suits withered lazy it costs a lot of money to make animatronics + costumes, remember Blum Houses model for making movies to to make them on lower budgets
Also how would that make sense if this is a sequel of the first movie why would they change their appearance like that I’m happy with a unique redesign of the first ones instead of wasting new costumes

Honestly, I’m shocked that they’re going practical with the mangle. Honestly, I thought they would do a CG mangle he just look at it. The mangle is a very hard design.
i curious on how Mangle would look like in the movie itself, the fnaf 1 movie animatronics look very close to their game counterparts but mangle is a very complex design, with a lot of limbs and the body is mostly just endo, so it's interesting on how they'll pull it off in the movie
In my opinion, the actors strike actually worked in the first movies favor, since they werent allowed to post or take pictures, there were no leaks, unfortunately this will not be the case this time around LMAO
Delay is a bummer, but we understand why, so let's not push them. Also, the classic animatronics models look different from their Withered versions cause FNAF 2 is a prequel to the original game (confirmed that the classics and Withereds are the same, with the Withereds being the models from their first Freddy Fazbear's Pizza location only super-decayed and in serious disrepair, and the classics from FNAF 1 being them only refurbished, slightly safe for Foxy [he was refurbished, but not as much as the others, plus for the most part his look fitted him well being a pirate])
6:19 I'd rather have the animatronics from the first film destroyed. One of the biggest problems in my opinion about FNaF in relation to games is that Scott doesn't know how to use the same animatronics in both gameplays(Withereds) and minigames(Freddy FNAF2 vs FNAF1)
It was better to have postponed the recording of the second film, better not to do things in a hurry. Regarding spin-offs, I prefer the main story of the films to be just a Trilogy, I don't think it's good to add a fourth film, so as not to extend the story too much, like the games 👀. These Spin-offs I would prefer to be about the Initial Trilogy first or even, choose a good story from Fazbear's Frights!
Fnaf 4 movie possible plot: a prequel, possibly about vanessa and how specifically she was "traumatized" by her father. Maybe she was a test subject in the fnaf 4 trials? In the allucinogenic gas chambers, this would make for a great movie I think
Well we already know that the first movie changed a lot of the timeline, and a majority of reports we’ve been getting heavily imply it’s gonna be sequel( now that doesn’t make it 100% confirmed but it’s something to think about)
Nah, they said the animatronics from the first movie are going to be used as the broken down withered animatronics, would make sense as a sequel to the first movie since the pizzeria was slightly damaged at the end and the animatronics are still there left to rot as William afton also rots in the Springbonnie suit, it only makes sense.
@@FiveNightsatObbyCreatorin the end of the movie we see William afton get springlocked and that's also the same thing that happened in the games and we know that William afton comes back as springtrap in fnaf 3 so it won't really make sense if we see springtrap in the second movie not to mention the fact that Matthew lillard is coming back in the second movie
@@salehmohammed1075 Compared to how the movie is to the games I doubt this will be just like the regular FNaF game story, the movie universe is a separate canon, and would be much more interesting if the timeline had a different spin, plus come on, you know it be cool if Springtrap appeared in FNaF 2, we would all love a showdown between afton and the marionette ( plus I’m pretty sure Springtrap won’t be an animatronic like the rest and still act as Mathew in a corpse suit)
I do think they can try to make the Withered animatronics look different from the FNAF 1 animatronics. I think I'm just focused on how the response some people might have towards it. Like "how did the fnaf 1 animatronics end up looking like models that have not been established yet or seen?". I feel like that question would come up a lot given that we haven't seen the Withered animatronics at all, and seeing completely different animatronics that are supposed to be the same animatronics from before, even though they are not the same models, would be kinda weird. But maybe that's just me. Maybe they can make it work somehow.
I would rather they not include the withered animatronics, I think they would be too far of a departure from the originals, and it wouldn't make sense for them to change so dramatically. I know it’s not a popular opinion but I would rather see the original ones.
