@Kryptic Unlimited I respectfully disagree. I think that the post sister location lore is really interesting. It's rather intriguing how Michal Afton went to Circus Baby's entertainment and rentals looking for answers after his father "disappeared", and Baby (the soul of his murdered younger sister) and Balora (the soul of his murdered mother) mistook him for his father and tried to kill him. I think it's pretty cool how Michal, despite being gutted and nearly killed, still survived, somehow, and managed to meet and fight his father at the end of fnaf 3, which resulted in the place being burned down. I personally really like how the lore of "build your own pizza place" thing served as a climactic moment where William was banished to a purgatory hell, manifesting as the player in ultimate custom night. To me, it's really interesting how Will somehow clawed his way out of purgatory during "Help Wanted", and how he was immediately kicked back into it at the end of Security Breach. I don't mean to be rude or condescending, I guess I just like simple complexity, even though that phrase barely makes any sense. Or maybe I watched a nice lore explanation video, and that's all I can think about. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CNG1U7_gTCc.html
@@sammycool4049 I like the additions of 5 and 6 into the lore, I love Michael and Elizabeth's whole concept and the idea that Michael is potentially every protagonist of FNAF (except the guy of 2's custom night of course) but I don't like 4 overcomplicating everything adding TWO bites, even if I do like the reveal of Fredbear that solved the mystery of who was Golden Freddy. I also don't like any of the books and I think the AR/VR games were unnecessary. I also think Security Breach was unnecessary.
I absolutely love the irony of not only being killed by your creation, but also being killed in a way that heavily resembles the whole ‘stuffed-in-a-suit’ thing.
I just have to thank ye for showing us the real thing, i had to scroll past maybe 25 shitty SFMs and animations and remixes and songs just to get this.
Purple Guy: HA! You guys can't do anything! I ALWAYS COME springlock suit gets a wardrobe malfunction BAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!! Cassidy: Alright guys, we got this b!tchass MF on the verge of death now! lets have a celebration party! Gabriel: Yea, I hate pizza now. Lets go to McDonalds, I want a burger AND a new toy! Fritz: AGREED! BURGER'S THE NEW KING NOW! Jeremy: Y'know Fritz, that makes me want to go to Burger king now. Lets go there instead, McDonalds kinda sucks. Susie: Aw man, but I really want pizza! You guys won't get tired of a slice, will you?
What I love about it using this old arcade look is that it non-verbally tells us what happened but it also leaves a lot up to our imaginations at the same time.
I still remember when this mini game was first revealed, I was in 3rd grade at the time and extremely obsessed with the series. I loved everything about it, however, I did feel an awful sense of shock and horror that haunted me when I found out what purple guy had done. Seeing this made me feel a bit relieved and it impresses me that all this could've been done in just 3 games. I recently remembered this moment because of a game I'm big into now, dead by daylight, held a poll discussing which licensed killer should be added next and springtrap was incredibly high up! Hopefully he'll be added but nonetheless I enjoy these bitter sweet memories.
For some reason I can imagine Henry coming in shortly after this and just be like "Well, well, well. Quite a predicament you've gotten yourself into, eh William? Well, I'll just..." * Proceeds to close off the room from any outside contact *
@@MatthewDiLeva will it was supposed to do that...... And that's why it's called a "springlock failure" Because it malfunctions and fails to do what it was supposed to do
Remember the company's position in this matter: Springlock Bonnie does not exist Springlock Fredbear does not exist Nothing happened to anyone HE does not exist HE does not exist HE does not exist HE does not exist HE does not exist ....or does he??
For people wondering what happened was it’s a suit that can be worn as a costume and an animatronic suit, in costume mode all the attachments retract, but once suit animatronic mode is on metal spikes and hooks latch on to attach themselves to the animatronic endoskeleton, what happened to him was water hit the suit and it malfunctioned and went into animatronic mode, filling him with spikes and metal
Actually, im pretty sure the endo is part of the suit itself and that it retracts in suit mode, but if the locks come loose, the endo would basically crush the wearer inside the suit, hence springtrap looking the way he does.
*I don't know why, i still want to see this minigame in a real life experience. Like, i don't wanna see it in 8-Bit. I wanna see the true apparence of the springlock suit before it decades, how the FNAF 4 location looked like, how the animatronics from stage-01 looked like, what was in the hand of Purple Guy in THE SAVETHEM minigame... So many things. If only Scott could see this and just show us what it really looked like in real life. But i think its impossible.*
Well, there's an offical FNAF novel comic, and there's a part when William dying in the suit, you also can see how he looks like and how the suit looks like. That's the closest to this question. Edit: It's not canon. lol
@@logger22 it looks like springtrap just twitching because there was no blood and springtrap wasn't looking like springBonnie, he was actually looking like he was rotting by 30 years
I wish the movie actually had the ghosts of the children chase William Afton into the Springlock suit like in the game. That would have been way cooler and scarier.
And the suit behind the helping of the man behind the slaughter ends up becoming the suit behind the slaughter of the man behind the slaughter. Meanwhile, the children in front of the slaughter become the children beside the slaughter.
The movie was sooo close to being perfect, I wish we would've seen things from William's POV and the animatronics were the Children to him, and I wish he had begun to point and laugh once he put the helmet back on, like in the game's scene. Otherwise, it was still pretty good.
Had to come back and watch this after seeing the movie, it's incredible how much more effective and shocking this was than the live action film version of this scene.
@@chi6423 fair point, but I don't know, I just felt it being so dragged out kind of ruined the impact. The sudden snap seen here before he collapsed just feels way more abrupt and violent, and that's with 8 bit blood lol. But yeah, could just be bias since obviously seeing this scene in fnaf3 I didn't know it was gonna happen. Also I know it's a fan favorite line, but the "I always come back" before putting on the mask was so ridiculously corny it ruined any tension or impact the scene had. It also doesn't make any sense, what does he mean he always comes back? He hasn't come back yet, he's still human lmao
@@ryanchurilla6648 yeahh u make good points, i honestly liked the scene in the movie though, the visuals were so great and everything after he puts the mask on looked incredible. The shot of him twitching while the panels fall in the back is one of my favourites. I think i would've preferred if all the springlocks snapped at once tho, i agree abt that (also yeah the line was kinda campy and barely made sense but it was fun, i was happy when he said it and ive seen theatre reactions where people r screaming and cheering cus of it lmfao)
It's two different timelines tho and two different deaths. This one he was trying to dismantle all of the animatronics to get the spirit remnants and just the fact that the ghost children came back after him and him jumping into the suit and dying was like full circle event. He killed the kids with that suit and now he will suffer and die in that suit and obviously we find out that he lives. In the movie it's a different atmosphere and the animatronics don't come after him until they realize that he was the killer all along. It leaves it as if he will for sure die in that suit and when the next movie comes it'll still have that same shock if and when he comes back from the dead in that suit you feel me?
Something I find disturbing is that we never see him stop moving or die which implies he never did die, meaning that he was fully conscious and alive for 30 years alone and in unimaginable agony
you ever wonder who actually thought the springlock suits were a good idea? I mean it's genius on paper, with it being able to be both the animatronic and a suit but with the springlock issues, it makes you wonder how these suits were approved? I mean granted the issues probably were a result of age and disrepair but still.
man, William broke all the rules about wearing a springlock suit, first: he made sudden movements when he laughed, second: his laugh caused a moisture in the springlocks, resulting into them snapping back into place, crushing him third:the suit was defective and shouldn't be worn under any circunstances fourth: nobody was allowed to enter that room
One thing I've never understood is why have the spring locks activate with sudden movements AND FUCKING MOISTURE UKNOW SWEATY IT WOULD GET IN THERE LIKE WTF
I always had this thought: if the "Animal" parts of the endoskeleton, why not just put on a morph suit and go full on cosplay with the animal parts of the animatronic, instead of getting in something that could crush you with the slightest wrong move?
@@Nostle True. The cupcake bites him for the balls and then he just quietly doing almost nothing and then puts his mask on with the words that he always comes back.
Yeah probably, even if his idea was completely inexplicable btw, do you have any idea of what are that 3 things in the upper part of the safe room? Arcade games or sinks?
I could imagine Michael walking in the establishment and when he goes to look at the bathrooms, he just hears pounding and someone saying "Michael! Don't leave me here!! Michael, MICHAEL! HELP ME!"
I heard in the book that the suit tore his vocal cords making him unable to scream or talk but only drown in his own blood and gargle pretty gruesome 0_0
MAAAAN I JUST FINISHED THE MOVIE AND THEY CHANGED HOW WILLIAM GOT SPRINGLOCKED, it was a missed opportunity and the i will always comeback line disappointed me I feel like they just had to insert it.But overall it's good. edit: mb, the movie's spring lock scene was based on books and I didnt read nothing.
People have to stop recommending the book, I still can't believe we need a book to explain something as simple as that, the prices are no longer enough 😔
God, now thinking about it, imagine how confusing it would be if Custom Night came before FNAF 2 and 3, since both of them represent William in this 8 bit purple guy. But Michael also represented as the purple guy, so it would be hella confusing.
He went in the suit to hide or mock the souls cause that was the suit that he killed the souls (children) in, he ran into the store in a rage to destroy all the animatronics accidentally freeing the souls until they cornered him in a back room with part of its roof gone. He went in the suit to hide until rainwater dripped on the gears activating the springlocks crushing and piercing his body with the robotic parts, hope that helped
@@geometrygraham3337 Well, since I made that comment, it occurred to me that the one chasing him was the Crying Child. The reason this is significant is because FNAF 4 shows it's his first born son. Regular children ghosts, he might be able to ignore, but the ghost of his own son haunting him? Yeah, he's going to get a little scared.
The movie rendition of this moment is far too dramatic and isn’t as unsettling, brutal or creepy as it was originally depicted in this mini-game. Such a shame, he didn’t even seem that scared or freaked out at all by the ghost children in the movie and they even made him drop the silly one liner.
The movie was written at a time where the FNAF lore was heavily expanded after all, unlike FNAF3 where there were only the Bite of 87 and MCI. Hell, one of the movie’s main characters Vanessa is based off of the recently introduced character in Security Breach
Should have been: mikes family is grieving after his brother got abducted. One of the parents kills themself or something just to add more drama. Mike has abbys imaginery friends, he dreams about his brother and the children. Mike gets a job at the pizzeria because he keeps dreaming of it. and experiences the horrors of fnaf 1. This could have lead to the inclusion of the puppet, and springtrap. Spring trap should have been the villain. He comes to destroy the animatronics, and dies allowing mike to save himself. Remember. Its a horror movie so it doesnt really need as integrate of a story they gave us. TOO many supporting characters with zero plot
"Okay, so I'm cornered. Ah, yes! The springlock suit that I designed to purposely be extremely dangerous and deadly, perfect! It'll obviously protect me, and of course the springlocks wouldn't fail even though it's extremely old and under a leaking roof! What's the worst that could happen?" "AND FURTHER MORE I will proceed to laugh, which will increase the chances of my painful demise. What a genius idea!"
Lol yeah. I feel like he would just be panicking at the sight of five ghost children with an intention to get revenge in the middle of the night and wasn’t thinking or something. But you are right, he got what was coming, and didnt bother to remember that its raining and the suit is old lol
Do you seriously believe that the "designed to purposely be extremely dangerous and deadly", "extremely old and under a leaking roof" and "increase the chances of my painful demise" really crossed his mind at the time? You don't think like that when you're in situations like that. You do whatever you can to escape what's after you. The only thing on your mind is survival by any means possible.
Theoretically, what could the ghost children even do to him? We know that spirits can posses other things through remnant and since William is also a human with a soul they could probably posses him too and give him horrible nightmares and control him, so he commits suicide and maybe even torture him for eternity in his own body. Guess there is a lot they could do.
Or you know, WALK THROUGH THEM! I never understood why he was so scared, there ghosts just walk through them even if there poltergeists all that means is that they can throw things at you not block you. Are we sure William is as smart as we think he is.
To be fair, he literally saw his victims chasing him and he wasn't expecting it. It's not every day you get to see dead people staring at you - especially if they are those you wronged.
@@digital_gaming5175 No, we would see blood leaking from his mouth or the suit holes. Remember, the springlocks CRUSH your skin and bones, you SHOULD be bleeding EVERYWHERE
@@BlueJourney2719that's not how they worked in the movie tho, we see they just impale him instead of completely crushing him (that would be super hard to achieve without special effects). there wouldnt be much blood with the metal filling the wounds
Start at 0:33 for the real deal. I really just needed this part to see how it happened to animate it but I guess it could be useful to others hhHhHHhhhHh Oh, and then 0:40 for the bad stuff
My name is Adam Savage, my name is Jamie Hyneman, and today we're going to review what happens If you put Buster into a Springlock suit fragile by water.
@@Rogue_artist3Yes but this took place at the FNAF 1 location. We already know that, at the very least, William wearing the Spring Bonnie suit will be in the movie. So it's likely it'll actually happen
I always found it weird how the ghost you're playing as never faces purple guy dying, it's always facing the other way, then i figured, the ghost you play as is Cassidy, and her facing away from the death is like refusing to let William go and die to keep torturing him.
@@huggystoriesbr7998 no, the vengeful spirit is Andrew, it's confirmed in the toy chica school cutscenes (confirms that there's a 7th victim apart from Charlie, Cassidy, Susie, Gabriel, Jeremy and Fritz)
