That's easily the saddest scene in this franchise. Because it comes so close to death. Not own death, but a loved one's. Many don't fear their own, but the other's. But what catches me the most is the pure innocence of that child.
i just had a fucking mindstorm over this. okay so hear me out. the person speaking to evan Afton here (evident by the fazbear's frights book "the real jake". no chomp of 83. bro named michael. talks to his kid through his toy) is Cassidy. golden freddy. evan died in fredbear which means his remnant would posess him...however...he does not. he's too scared and too sad that he's stuck in limbo. charlie/puppet is unaware of evan so when she gives cassidy life, THAT is where cassidy meets Evan. "i will put you back together" means that cassidy is pulling him into golden freddy with her. allowing him to coposess with her. the gold text. it was never william or michael (except the grey text) or elizabeth. it was cassidy. that's why the freddy and co plushes are here. and that's why the fredbear plush is so important and is the last to go before evan does. them disappearing is them leaving limbo to be the characters they posess. freddy and co leave first. then it's cassidy. then it's Evan. this HAS to be it. i never thought about this till now!
This is the saddest ending…of a game…ever 1.your brother gets you killed 2.your only friends are plushies 3.you sister disappeared before your birthday 4.your mother died… This kids poor heart is shattered and unfixable
If you also consider the book business, C.c's life was even worse, his own father did experiments on him, inducing gases and making him see hallucinations of horrible creatures
@@MlchiiPretty sure sl takes place right after 4, and it’s michael trying to find elizabeth’s soul there’s more evidence that she died before c.c, as if you look at fredbear’s stomach you’ll see a mouth, and elizabeth was scooped and essentially swallowed by baby’s stomach
@@gabrielgatica2216 first of all, chill, jeez. second of all, this is a video about the end of fnaf 4 and back when the franchise was smaller like this I feel like the lore was much cooler so I don't think my comment is out of place at all. Also, the lore was meant to be vague, that's the mystery factor that made fnaf so interesting to a lot of people
@@gabrielgatica2216 i aint reading all that, my comment was just comparing how goofy that thing from security breach is from how more serious toned and mysterious fnaf used to be, that you can't deny. You totally missed the mark on what I said. also, its more of an exaggerated nickpick i guess, i just found it funny, i have no idea why you took this so seriously, i probably just left that comment at 3 am while trying to fall asleep
yeah i agree. fnaf was a tragedy. that's why i came to fnaf comminuty becuse i really loved this tragedy and i always wanted to know that what will happen to these innocent little souls. but security breach... what's the point of all of this.
@@Torneix666 Look, I get Security Breach is more silly than the other games but almost every game in this series has something silly or funny in it... the first game in this series has the words "Don't poop on the floor" in it, silliness and just like all out weirdness has always been apart of this franchise, I get and respect what you're trying to say but I just disagree
@@MichaelaEDavishe… was his brother. Its shown that Michael really did regret getting his brother killed. For him it was just a prank, a little joke, and he thought that because he was an immature teenager. There are clues through the rest of the series showing that Michael is the protagonist in most of them, showing how he’s determined to save the souls of the dead because of his guilt about killing his brother. Even if that’s not conclusive, the first few lines of this very ending show this exact guilt: “Can you hear me? I don’t know if you can hear me. I’m sorry…” Michael Afton is a good person, he was just young and didn’t know better, and then an accident happened.
@@yousramahdy550same here it had some missed opportunities but it wasn't by any means bad. I wish we actually got to see the animatronics stuffing the guard in a suit which is one of the big things that made them scary in the first place
The best part of this scene for me is how it affects Michael Afton. Tbh I found the Crying Child’s character to be fairly one note, and most of the lines here are kinda convoluted, which makes it difficult to find the entire scene that impactful. But those first few lines, said in Michael’s color font. “Can you hear me? I don’t know if you can hear me. I’m sorry…” That hits me hard, because I can just imagine the pain and guilt that Michael must have felt, after the shock of seeing his brother bitten due to one of his pranks, being by his dying brother’s side, and desperately hoping that his apology gets through, just hoping that CC knew it was an accident and that Michael still loved him as his brother, especially in that final moment. It hits hard and gives more of a reason as to why Michael does what he does to try and redeem himself in the later games. Yeah I don’t know if you noticed, but Michael Afton is my favourite character in the series, and the most well-written
Some people speculate, including myself that whatever Micheal did throughout the franchise was a way to redeem himself for his past mistakes (killing his younger brother) in hopes of being able to be forgiven and forgive himself. He even goes to sister location when William tells him too, despite knowing he may die going there. Micheal is also my favourite character in the story because it shows how someone bad, can always become someone good. In Michael Aftons case, he started out as a troubled young teen who always bullied and picked on his younger brother and accidentally killed him, to going to sister location to free his sister and presumably trying to end William in hopes of being able to be forgiven by his brother.
And this entire cutscene is the reason why Evan wasn’t the one tormented by the Nightmares (Since the plushies are implied to be them). Honestly, I think we’re playing as Michael throughout the nights.
I know there isn’t any new ground being broken here, but Fredbear disappearing, the Crying Child breaking down into despair followed by that haunting flatline… it’s such a powerful and awful ending.
This part of the game is so well executed. The dialogue, the melancholy piano theme, the dark setting, the disappearing plushes, the flatline as the child slowly fades away...it adds up to be such an emotion scene.
watching the plushes (his friends) slowly disappear and then he cries when the golden freddy disappears and then watching him disappear and it flatline made me cry. honestly heartbreaking
Amazing how basically a decade later, with books, a bunch of other games and other merchandise this is still the most gutwrenching ending in the entire franchise.
"Can you hear me?" "I don't know if you can hear me." "...I'm sorry." * "You're broken." "We are still your friends." "Do you still believe that?" "I'm still here." * * "I will put you back together." *
@@NOBODY-bk8tj ik it wasn't a question for me and all.. but i actually believe that it was puppet refering about maybe the main 4 kids??? Idk, but the other lines seems to belongs to puppet too at all
Michael: Can you hear me? I don’t know if you can hear me. I’m sorry. 0:10 Fredbear/William: You’re broken. We are still your friends. Do you still believe that? 0:27 Fredbear/William: I’m still here. I will put you back together. 0:41 Rest in Peace Evan Afton
@@cloudshines812 William Afton was the serial killer and was the one speaking threw the Fredbear plush to Evan. Micheal was the older brother who was bully Evan and ultimately caused his death.
It was William speaking. PQ 4 in HW2 confirms that No one had died yet by the time of FNAF 4, the order of the graves that most likely reference the MCI. Chica first(She was the first ) and then Charlie last.
Still brings me to tears all these years later, the saddest scene in the entire franchise if you ask me. The flatline as Evan cries to himself and fades away is actually soul destroying. Hits even more like a freight train if you’ve ever lost family like ouchhhh Easily my favorite game in the series narratively. Nothing tops this
God no matter how many times I watch this, it’s still such a sad moment in the FNaF games. The way the first few lines are from Micheal apologizing for causing all this pain, to William saying he’s gonna put CC back together. What’s worse is the flatline at the end signifying that CC died after the bite.
The child after the bite 83 in the animation of night 5 is tube in a coma and is the animation of night 6 when the child disappears means that he died in the hospital if you turn it up at maximum volume you will hear the of the heart shots in an 83 of the biting machine.
C.C's cry at the end makes me so upset poor C.C he doesn't deserve to have to go through so much pain but I think C.C might have more lore than we know this poor kid...
Honestly, at the time, the only thing that stirred this much emotion in me was the ending to your lie in april Both share meaningful last lines I will put you back together Do you think it reached her?
flatline, ok, but we need to discuss if it was intentional (someone unplugged the machine) or if Evan (or whatever the C.C.'s name is) died "naturally"
The EKG flatline was the most heartbreaking moment… No pun intended Seriously, it clearly shows the child was in a hospital, and couldn’t make it. Clearly shows how sad FNAF 4 truly was
Bruh they really should make the Psychic Fredbear appearance in the new game that has been teased again and game ends with this line from Psychic Fredbear: “I told you. I will put you back together.” and a laptop shines in the dark with Glitchtrap.exe window
The flatline proves that this minigame was the crying child’s final moments. Don’t worry I’ll make you all feel better just click “read more” Flatline, flat just like CC’s head hahahaha
" Can you hear me? I dont known if you can hear me... I'm sorry. " " I'm still your friend. Do you still believe that? I'm still here, you're broken. I... " " *I will put you back together.* "
I feel so sorry for the boy who got the bite of 83. Michael afton is a threat to this poor little boy especially Evan he doesn't like it when he's getting closer to Fredbear.
I feel like this is supposed to be a happy/bittersweet moment but it's not because you don't know what the fuck he's talking about and Scott can't be fucked to give an answer
@@smt64productions40Fred bear didn’t kill him well it did but he didn’t was just following the code his mouth opens and closes and this was before the murders this was before fnaf 1 or 2 or 3 Fred war is golden Freddy and in fnaf 1 it already has been removed so no souls in the animatronics
Theory: the kids who pranked Evan sat next to evan in the hospital and the plushies represent them because the masks, and the plushies fading represents them losing hope and leaving. Despite the fact that Michael loved him the most he left first because he couldn't bare to see his brother in a coma and the guilt of being the most responsible one for his death.
Unfortunately, Mike couldn't put up with his nightmares anymore, despite that his older brother is sorry for what he caused, these give us a hidden lesson that when a father loves more than the other child, in the end the one he loves most is taken away from you, all the dialogue that was happening at the end They are Mike's friends, but Mike's subconscious thinks that it is the stuffed animal that is talking to him, but in the end his subconscious gave him his last breath and left even though he did not leave peacefully. Conclusion, your older brother is an example that when we do not feel loved and we are excluded from our parents by someone "Favorite" the envy and the great suffering and pain he has It made envy and jealousy completely invade him and blinded him, which is why in the minigame on day 5 he wanted to take revenge on his younger brother, for the rejection that his father gave him. Lack of father's love led to that accident and death of Mike, unfortunately for his older brother that will remain on his conscience and in his death although he is already dead being Foxy in FNAF2Sometimes you have to go beyond the game and the hidden message, that is why you have to treat your children no matter what since we don't want to go through what happened with this family. 👋
No, if he did, then that wouldn’t line up with Michael’s motivations throughout the rest of the series. Both of Michael’s siblings, Elizabeth and Crying child (Evan, I guess) would have to be dead for him to go so far to redeem himself. Like at the end of fnaf pizza sim, Michael probably wouldn’t have let himself die in the fire if he still had family to return to, but he would if they were all already dead and waiting for him in the afterlife.
Can you hear me?I don’t know if you can hear me…I’m sorry…Your broken. we are still your friends. do you still believe that?Im still here.i will put you back together…
