Fun fact about Alice’s riddle! The riddle involves a bear, rabbit, bird and fox. If this combination of animals seem familiar, it should, because they’re the animals of the original FNAF cast (though obviously Chica is specifically a chicken)! The order in the riddle is the same as the stage order in FNAF 1
Bendy and the Dark Revival is kind of a miracle. It's important to know how disastrous the situation inside of the fandom was. In between these two games was a failed project, a lot of drama, a terrible communication with fans, lawsuits with the merch company, and a lot, a lot more... Yet the game still released, and honestly, not only lived up to all of expectations, but also touched me personally. This game is unusual, because it was delayed multiple times over the years and that actually helped to make the game better. TheMeatly and the team did an amazing job at figuring out what they had to remove, replace or add. They went for a great story and made sure to deliver on that. There are a lot of themes and they made sure to make them feel impactful. Both Joey and Nathan are amazing characters (honestly, all of them are. Even Wilson, who is a cliche, but that's exactly why he works so perfect. There's also his notes and audiologs, which just develop him further). I'm not sure if you found that note, but it is hidden somewhere in the corner of the gent building and it is Joey talking about Audrey, how, from all the masterpieces that he created, she is the most important to him. What I find the most touching, is how much of an importance "hope" has as a theme of the game. It feels as something personal from the developers, something that helped them to make this game, this dream, come true. Doing Betty's side quest gives you a cracked mug with a sad face on it. "It may be sad, but it still has life in it". That's just a stretch, however it does look kinda like TheMeatly's mascot, and it feeled me with so many emotions the first time I played. Bendy and the Dark Revival is definitely my favorite horror game. There's something special about this world. I spend over 100 hours playing the first game, and around 50 hours playing BatDR twice. I also played on Hard the first time, and honestly, it was perfect. I found myself in so many funny and exciting situations, I still remember every single one of them. There's just something unique when you are being chased by the whole Butcher Gang and then get pushed into an army of The Lost Ones. Or when Bendy just appears in the middle of climbing up, in the other side of the map, far away from any hiding places I really hope to see this world flourish even more! There are is an interesting story to tell with Gent, and I'm glad they choose to make them the antagonistic force
My favorite Ink Demon moment was probably when I found the last upgrade for the collection and he spawned just a moment before I pressed the key to pick it up... Hard does not give you a chance to relax, and I love it
BLAAAAAZE!!!! I'VE BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS! I'm so happy to know you share the same love and passion for bendy that us long-time fans do. It really brings a smile to my face. Much love from Australia, you absolute GOAT! Edit: My favourite "soda" (we just call it soft drink over here) would have to be Pepsi :)
Nah I don't wanna start a fight either. But you could ask almost anyone and they'd tell you that Pepsi is garbage. Also im not a big fan of soda in the first place so that also has a factor.
I started following since your first lore watching video of FNAF, and I have yet to be disappointed by what you’ve been putting out! All great stuff, I recommend “The Glitched Attraction” as another super good FNAF fan game with cool twists! I love the four hour Bendy trip you’ve gifted us now though
Coming back to talk a little bit about Gent. The first ever note you can find in this game is from Alan Gray, the CEO of Gent (you missed it in the first room of the Cycle). In short, he talks about how all of the studio's equipment belongs to them, and, in case of rumored bankropcy, they will reclaim it. The other important person to know is Thomas Connor, he is the manager at Gent and the creator of the Ink Machine (You probably guessed that he is Tom, the one with Allison, but in Ch5 of BatIM there was an audiolog from him, and, next to it in the small toolbox, a plush Boris, so, you know). It's interesting how Wally Franks basically was the closest person to knowing all of that, because he was allowed to maintain the Machine. There's an Audio Log in this game in Chapter 1 from Grant Cohen, Joey's Finance director, talking about how they should be already bankcropt, however Alan Gray just funds all of his money into the studio, and seems to be interested by something that he keeps a secret. If I understand correctly what is now true from both games, Joey wanted the Ink Machine to make living cartoons, the results were bad, but Alan saw these failed experiements as something that he would research no matter what. It's interesting for Keepers to be located in the Gent building, experementing on the Cycle, which is basically what Gent did in four years after Joey Drew Studios closed. You can actually see that "A Theory About Spaces" book is actually written by Alan himself, which explains exactly how the Cycle works What happened next is that Joey stole the Ink Machine from Thomas, which, if I'm correct on the timeline, he used to create Bendy and the Ink Machine, the story in which he tortured Henry... Until he died, and Nathan Arch revived his legacy. Ironically enough, that is exactly how the Ink Machine came back to Alan. There's another audiolog near your room in Chapter 5, where Wilson talks about how a man in a black coat came asking about the Machine, leaving his name on the sign-in form - Alan Gray. And then what happens after the end credits is Gent stealing the Machine from Arch Gate, fully circle around... Basically, Alan Gray is the William Afton of this story, and I'm all for it, can't wait for the next game!
Blaze is such an underrated youtuber. He really deservers a LOT more subs. He deserves at least a mil. He has great vibes, editing, personality, and overall great content. Blaze is a genuinely FUN youtuber to watch. The only other youtuber that is like that for me is Coryxkenshin. Blaze is easily a top tier youtuber.
God Dark Revival is so good man. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Your hype and enjoyment was on the same level of Pastra (who is literally the no. 1 Bendy fan, my guy loves Bendy) The way you hoped for Bendy's appearance and to see Henry's face made me laugh because I knew what was coming. Joey's speech was so beautiful. But dang though, he really had to say all that in front of the Ink Demon like that. Man's straight up called Audrey his greatest creation in front of the being he tortured and demonised since its birth. Almost want to say Joey earned that body crush. Oof. So fun seeing you play through one of my favourite games. Here's to hoping Bendy 3 lives up to Dark Revival. PS. In case you were interested, Bendy has books. Unlike fnaf, the Bendy books are in-universe and canon to the games, but aren't needed to solve the game lore. We got 3 books + an employee handbook. There's also the Crack-Up Comics but that's literally just fun comics that take place like in the cartoons themselves. The book "Dreams Come to Life" tells the story of a teen who will eventually become the Boris we know in Ink Machine Also BIG THING: The creators of Bendy have made a few ACTUAL Bendy cartoons to watch. It's on the Joey Drew Studios channel. Thought you might want to watch them on your own or even react to some of them.
It's people like you who I appreciate deeply. I've seen a couple of people write this game off as "just another" Bendy game that looks better, and that it's not a good game because you have to walk around a lot. And then they write off the game because it doesn't have a good combat system. But you gave it a chance and came out enjoying both games despite the couple of flaws. For that, thank you. I love seeing people fall in love with this series the same way I did. Also, if you're reading this Blaze. I wanted to give you a game recommendation since you like indie games like this. Have you tried Doki Doki Literature Club? If you haven't, I highly recommend it. Also don't read anything about it so you don't get spoiled. Based on your reaction to this game, I'm sure DDLC will leave you in tears.
Expanding a bit on how the Bendy world works. So there’s the “Real World” and the “Ink World”, also known as “The Cycle”, inside the Ink Machine. How does this work? Basically, due to the abundance of souls and demonic power inside the Ink Machine, a pocket dimension was created, made from the memories of the dead studio employees, which is why it looks like Joey Drew Studios. Joey Drew figured how to to influence the Ink World. By running storyboards through the machine he created The Cycle and the events of Bendy and the Ink Machine
I've been avoiding watching game play so I can play it without being spoiled, but I haven't been able to buy it since in came out so I decided to just watch you play since you are really enjoyable 😭
It's really made me happy how you played the whole game sadly batim and batdr is not getting attention, and as long time bendy fan since its dropped I'm really happy that you played it.
I was just watching your Bendy and the Ink Machine playthrough when I got the notification for this video! I'm about halfway through the first one, and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing you play this game as well! Bendy and the Dark Revival is easily one of the best games of 2022 IMO!
I love watching you play this, LOVE this game!!!! I don't know much about the gameplay (since again, I only watched let's play XD), but the story is so amazing!!! Seeing all the characters from the first game back was awesome, like seeing Henry appearrance, having Allison, Tom, Alice, Sammy and even the employee from the tapes! I also love some of the new characters like Porter (the teleport guy that call you Bobby XD) and of course Audrey! And Wilson is a really an interesting villain, and really creepy! (Come on, we all wanted to leave that elevator as soon as he came in !) Bendy is so adorable!! And him and the Ink Demon being the same is interesting!! And the best scene: the finale!! Not only you got to play as the Ink Demon himself, but all the characters you've met are here helping you, LOVE IT!! Long story short, I love this game! Thanks for reading my ramblings XD
Henry you played as in the original is just a recreation of him. Joey says "Where he'd torment *his own version* of Henry forever more". Which also explains why Henry sounds like he's 25 in BATIM when he should be like 60.
Thank you so much for playing this game Blaze. You are truly amazing. I recommend you play little nightmares, its such a beautiful game and it will not disappoint.
24:24 Don't worry about no subtitles when hearing audio tapes for the first time. It's made up for how you carry the tapes with you in the unlockables seen in the Pause menu- you can replay the tapes any time there with a transcription of what they say. 25:49 F for Buddy Boris 30:05 "Wouldn't it be cool if Bendy was your friend in this game?" Uhhhhh.. 1:08:58 First of the reactions I wanted to see from you xD 1:12:48 And there's the second reaction I was waiting to see :P Sean Crisden did fantastic as the Ink Demon, and he did his job if the Demon's voice scares you. ;) 1:23:59 Yep, a good spook right there. Aside from a few scripted attacks, the Ink Demon is RNG around most of the map, though he seems to have higher RNG in Animation Alley. 1:28:08 Blaze, you were *that* close to opting out of Carley... (at least I learned you can see what she looks like in the crate without needing to open it) 1:29:44 "There's no way it's going to keep freaking jumpscaring me like that!" As long as you're going through that hallway she will; she has a trigger point at every doorway in this hall. :p 2:38:27 The third reaction I waited for! If you think about it, a note from Tom in the first game said the Machine has only ever crafted one Bendy, the Ink Demon. Just because the Cycle is frozen here doesn't necessarily mean that would change. Also, it wasn't the noise of the towers that pained the Demon and Audrey, it was the *colored* light. 2:39:07 Ohey you finally found one of the RU-vidr tapes- this one is voiced by SuperHorrorBro/Mike, the guy comments recommended to you on the BatIM video to explain the lore. Within the game is also tapes from returning RU-vidrs Jacksepticeye and DAGames, with other newcomers Dawko and VaporTheGamer.
2:54:48 LOL that's not Joey Drew. That's Bertrum Piedmont, the head that was inside the carnival ride from the Chapter 4 boss fight in the first game. 3:51:28 Sorry, it's trying to be heartfelt towards Audrey, but I hold animosity for this speech by Joey. My reasons are found within how the Demon snarls at his presence and then at "my Audrey, my greatest creation", then charged at "I love you so very much", grabbed him after "Remember", and crushed him after "You have to have heart." He's executing himself like a loving father, but he's still a remnant of Joey Drew, and never forget the real Joey was an egotistical narcissist who'd reject any kind of flaws in his grand schemes and pat himself on the back for any success. The Ink Demon was the first being born from the Ink Machine, from Joey's command. However, just because he ended up being a soulless failure of a first attempt, Joey shunned the Ink Demon and had him locked up in the studio infirmary until the Demon eventually escaped. Memory-Joey is being hypocritical here by showing extreme favoritism expressing love for Audrey since she turned out how he wanted, while ignoring the Demon, his first creation he never loved, within the fused being he was looking at. It was very unfair of him to say those words to the Demon's face.
I’m glad you enjoyed the game as much as I did when I first saw people play it and I loved seeing you explore the world that this game sets up. I also enjoyed watching you get scared along the way as well.😆😊👍
Boris still around you missed him but he alive again fr The guy next to Henry at the end was porter the one who give you the teleporting power But thanks for playing bendy it's such an underrated game and my favorite game of all time
If you are going to react to BATDR music like you did with the original game, PLEASE check out DAgames song. Its called Are You Proud Of Me Now, and is personally my favorite nerdcore song ever. It is half about BATDR and half about DAgames's struggles with feeling tied to the bendy franchise and being only known for his work in the bendy franchise when in reality he has made so many greater things. It really touched me personally and I think you would love it :,)
Dark Revival is actually so good. From the graphical updates to the gameplay overhaul, the great scares and moments (the Turn Around, Wilson Knows moment is one of my favorites), this whole game is so much better than Ink Machine and just an amazing game in general.
great job with the video and I am very excited and proud of you for playing this game ❤ I am also very surprised you didn't play this game before but nonetheless good gameplay keep the momentum going🎉❤
I haven't watched the whole video yet so if you find out about this later on then... oops. Anyway at 24:25 when you were saying how you don't like how they removed the subs on the tapes, you can actually see the texts in the pause menu. Hope this helps on future playthroughs! (again, just in case you didn't know already)
There’s a secret ending where we just don’t stand up (in the beginning of the game) from our desk where we were drawing, just don’t press anything and you’ll get an ending
Just started watching this but I can tell this will be amazing! I’m currently having multiple health complications (nothing dangerous) and I feel like this will bring me comfort!❤️ Oh and I do have a game suggestion for you, my favorite horror game! It's a survival horror game called Outlast and for the time it came out, it is amazing! If you haven't played it, I really suggest it! It does have gore and some inappropriate stuff, so be warned if you do play it! I really love your videos and have an amazing day!☺️
"Wouldn't it be cool if Bendy was your friend in this game?" Famous last words (T'was also I who said there was maybe a 3rd one accidentally leaked called Bendy And The Silent City. Not sure if it's a spinoff or a mainline, but it seems more on the mainline side.)
Everyone always wonders who their best pal is at the start of the game, here’s how you know immediately; remember in the first game something ends up saying: “your best pal, Joey Drew”
The notes left by "Your Best Pal" are probably left by Joey Drew. Because if you remember the very first thing you read after the title in Bendy and the Ink Machine, it was a note from Joey, signed "Your Best Pal, Joey Drew". Also I am a bit surprised you saw the colorful ink and didn't even give it a second thought, when the entire world of "The Cycle" has been in sepia this entire time. It caught me off guard. The towers that harm Bendy and disable your powers also give off color.
I love your videos dude! They're fantastic to watch while I write my books, with the length, especially! Although I find it hilarious how it seems you refuse to make two-parters even if it means making a 5+ hour video. Keep up the good work my guy!
Fun fact: At 5:40 Audrey says, "Who put this here?" which is also the same thing Henry said when the same thing happened to him! more obvious than not but still pretty damn cool.
Me: I CANT WAIT FOR BLAZE TO REACT TO ALL THE AWESOME REVEALS IN THIS GAME!!! Blaze in the first 30 mins: "Imagine if I was Joe Drew's daughter", "What if Bendy is like boris in this game?"...
When Audrey sees the cutout at the start, she says who put this here? Which is a reference to when Henry sees the cutout he says the snae thing. Also in the Alice puzzle, there is a FNAF refrence. Bunny Bonnie Bear Freddy Bird Chica Fox Foxy
Amazing vid! Though I was a bit dissapointated at 24:52 when you turned around you missed that when the door opened you could see the original boris walking down the hall, the game told you to run so you could catch up to him even though thats not actually possible.
Hey Blaze, I know its been a year and you most likely aren't reading the comments, but I would highly recommend that you read the the book dreams come to life as though it is in a separate universe with some ties to the games lore, its still a really good book. Thanks!
2:39:08 Fun Fact: This audio log has the voice of the RU-vidr named SuperHorrorBro! Also, in the place where Henry is, there are multiple references to previous characters. The giant head (2:54:36) is what's left of Bertram Piedmont (the guy who was put into the carousel ride from Bendy and Ink Machine: Chapter 4). There is also a glass case with a projector in. If you interact with this (there isn't a prompt, but you can hit it with the gent pipe), a screech sound will play. This screech is exactly the same as the one the Projectionist (The guy who was used to create him is named Normon Polk) makes when he spots you.
there are two endings that you missed .(SPOILER) 1.if you do not get up from your seat, Audrey will just sit their drawing and the game will end.2.if you find all 10 the illusion of living books in the studio (I forgot were they were) And right before you get to the blade chamber with Wilson, sit in the chair and it will bring you to an insane asylum and when you move your bones will become ink
Do not worry, you missed only one cameo in that room with Henry. Inside of a glass box you can find the head of The Projectionist, with the twist being:He's alive, its just that now he's just a head. About the train:Yes,its an easter egg. If you go to the station at 4:14 AM you will see it.
If you like the atmosphere of this game, you would LOVE little nightmares and little nightmares 2, its whole thing is atmospheric horror its one of my top favourites
You will try to listen this songs: 1. Final Bow 2. Lost in the studio 3. Recording Gold 4. Flow the ink 5. Happy birthday Bendy 6. Makeshift creations 7. Masterpiece 8. Uncrowned 9. Face reality 10. Bendy beats 11. Horror show 12. Composer struggles 13. Absolutely anything 14. Projections
BLAZE, The goat is back bendy and the dark Revival this game has to my favourite, i love this one better than the main serious, also Pls play Other fnaf fan games, i honestly love this game and, your my favourite RU-vidrs, love your vids keep up the good work pal! and my favorite soda is fanta and cola
There are few more bendy songs u could check out if ur interested 2 for ink machine and 1 for dark revival, being the details in the devil by jt music for dark revival, intstruments of cyanide by dagames, and art of darkness by the stupendium, if i spelt that right, ive been watcjing ur playthroughs a lot recently and reactions of fnaf, overwatch cinematics, bendy and candy's and im loving them
