In the actual lore Bonnie didn't get replaced, and neither did Foxy. Foxy and Bonnie were their own animatronics but they both went missing. Monty and Roxy were probably originally replacements before they added in the foxy and Bonnie going missing part. Because you can't have a fnaf game without at least four main animationics.
