Also just so you know if you look in the files and look at the subtitles you can see that gragory got cut off and the mimic killed Cassie and not Gregory. And Gregory actually said to Cassie “thank you now run and hide”. And with the way that security breach has been we can’t even confirm if Cassie being dropped in the elevator is canon and if she even died when the elevator fell
Nah it cant be the mimic. If it were the mimic it wont tell cassie to go to the elevator since its the only way to maybe escape since gregory said "Sorry but we cant risk being followed".
I still think the Mimic tricked Cassie in the elevator. It either interrupted the signal and took over the conversation or Gregory never got into contact with Cassie in the first place and it was all just the Mimic being sadistic. Edit: I will keep believing it was the Mimic unless Steel Wool says otherwise. Please stop trying to convince me Gregory did it. I won't respond to people who keep insisting it anymore.
I think that the mimic was trapped under the Roxy racers for a long time and it must have heard gregory while gregory was fighting Roxy so the mimic copied his voice
Or he could be the boy that went into the basement when he had heard the lulluby, And since he lives in the pizzaplex, (Well did) And we've went into the basement maybe the mimic came out when other us (cassie) Shut down security measures
I think the mimic has a part of glitchtrap's code, and because of that it also has access to the pizzaplex meaning it had the voice record of everything(since The Mimic say "I-Im.. Gregory" the first maybe second dialogue of Gregory) . The fact that the mimic mimicked gregory's voice in the entire game meaning the mimic also has access to the V.A.N.N.I mask since "Gregory" vanished the entity in the game for a few moment, and later when Gregory stated that he was trying to contact Cassie the whole night it also means the mimic is jammed the connection between Gregory and Cassie the game
I personally believe that it's able to hack cameras and it was able to watch Gregory. But Gregory was already jumpy and it couldn't lure Gregory using Freddy's voice because Gregory would just call Freddy to him. That's the only explanation that I can come up with and that's also most likely how it was keeping an eye on Cassie. It likely didn't use Cassie's voice because Gregory already knew she was safely home.
I think I understand (maybe) do you guys remember when Candy Cadet said the story? and when Cassie found the mimic she said " you're not Gregory , who are you ?" then the mimic said "i-i'm Gregory".. doesn't that give you a ring when SB comes out? that mimic at the end was the monster in the story so he was watching us all the time and copy Gregory voice so he can trick Cassie and let her think that Gregory needs help to escape but in the fact that the mimic wants to go free not Greg and plus Gregory escape with Vanessa and (maybe) Freddy

@@zaaraxkittyxo I get that the pizzaplex is dark, but the actual model of Cassie IS tan, if you google cassie model the first thing that comes up is the actual cassie and she's tan. Obviously steel wool has some problems with designing humans, but her being dark and light are both correct.

I'm seeing that almost no one paid attention to this info. Technically, Roxy is the key to the basement, a security measure in case the pizzaplex shuts down and as a result, she was made to see through walls and in this case, floors. Meaning, she knows pretty much a lot of bad things happening in the pizzaplex. As a result, she was able to quickly go after Cassie and save her from the mimic.
Gregory said that this thing has been there all the time and surely since Vannesa follows the orders of the burn trap (the mimic) he will know his voice because he is controlling Vannesa

2:06 Shouldn’t Vanessa and the Animatronics KNOW that it’s a prototype? The label was very clear on its foot. And don’t hit me with the “they didnt see it” bullshit, because Freddy, who is an animatronic, has been shown to recognize things almost instantly in the game.
Gregory doesn't speak to Cassie directly until the end of the game, where he explains that he was never in the Pizzaplex and she was tricked. He then directs her towards an elevator where she manages to sever one of the Mimic's hands, and then explains that the entity she kept seeing in the AR world was meant to keep the Mimic contained, but she freed it. The Mimic then cuts him off, posing as him, and says it's not her fault (something Gregory likely would have said anyway), but that they can't let her be followed. I think the mimic interrupt Gregory when he is talking and then the elevator fall and we can’t hear Gregory other part. Or it all was just the mimic and Gregory is at home like the trio ending.
