When the casual bongos in FNAF sister location can be heard in there. And we all thought it was a silly choice. Yet here we have it as a beat in DJ music man’s music.
this part of the game was sick. especially with dynamic lighting. probably my fav song thru the whole thing. i didnt expect the big chase at the end to be as insane as it was
i can never stop thinking about this sequence in the game. its just so good, the mix between using hiding spaces to locate the switches and animatronic positions inbetween moments of high-intensity dashes is a very good way to implement fnaf-y camera gameplay into a freeroam game like security breach, and on top of that, something i feel goes underappreciated is the announcer and the level design. the west arcade is designed so intentionally for this One Sequence that getting around it during it just feels amazing with fun individual challenges for each lever, being the lower section with monty, the very small corridor with a staffbot and two hiding spaces, the bathroom section is a super fun use of the "big guy is too big for doors" trope, and the last sprint to the long hallway with chica by the karoke rooms. and of course the chase sequence to the office as DJMM sprints after you in the service hallway [and fun fact: if youve completed the fizzyfaz challenge and have the running shoes you can straight up outrun him throwing arcade cabinets at you] and outside of the stellar mechanical design of the section, the visual and auditory feedback of the whole section is just excellent. the music dynamically adding layers as you flip switches and handunit functioning similar to an announcer in an FPS game makes the entire section just feel so good to play oh, also: DJMM crawling around the walls in and out of tunnels before his final chase is SOOO COOOOL this section alone makes me want to replay SB constantly, its just so good, the only thing i could wish they had different was giving DJMM some chase voicelines like the other animatronics during the main section before the hallway chase. he snores and groans so hes clearly *able* to vocalize; i think leaning into the bouncer schtick would be a lot of fun, "you are not on the LIST!" "get outta here, kid!"
Has anyone noticed yet it also sounds like alarm going off at certain parts. Like if someone were breaking into a place or a security breach happened, I'll see myself out.
