@@Gribbon1020 I haven’t experienced bugs afaik, just a missing fizzy faz in my inventory and the shirts don’t appear there either, I did glitch into the daycare (to get flashlight upgrade I missed) but that was a bug I forced of course.

The only thing I can think of is 1.06 update jacked something up cause I’ve heard a number of people say it ran fine after 1.05 but my day one of physical edition was miserable

For some reason i experienced more soft locks on pc than ps4... luckily i pirated it and didnt waste money

I agree with this. What made the situation worse were the sympathizers. I won’t deny that some people did enjoy it for what it was but people placing the blame on everything but the game being trash got annoying. PS4 can’t handle a game like this, you must be running a trash computer that’s why it looks bad… really? People giving Steel Wool a break by saying they did their best on top of the game being what it was made it so easy to walk away from fnaf as a whole. If you want a company to release you broken crap to you because they know you’ll still buy it, this is how you do it.

@@Gribbon1020At least they’re taking a step in the right direction with Ruin and HW2. I don’t think FNaF is going downhill. SB is just a bump on a relatively smooth road.

After 4 and a half months of not playing the game I had no idea That I opened them previously. Especially when SW botched another update to make them convert back to their original state and make it confusing for people moving forward. For people that took a break and come back if they wanted to go for trophies they would have to redo the work over again cause those presents will always pop up with Freddy’s upgraded eyes and, even worse, never go away because they can’t be reopened possibly making people triple, quadruple the amount of times they check it cause they’re still searching for ones they missed. Such a waste of time.

@@Gribbon1020 The game got the 1.09 update. It's still trash as usual 😑 but the game runs a little bit smoother. They added cameras in the game. The Party Bots don't just dissapeare out of nowhere (they just roll away) Still the graphics are terrible as usual (the save stations look like shit) Now their are new voice lines??? Mk. The controller vibrate for the most stupidest reasons for example getting a gift, getting a message, jumping, animatronic footsteps. For some reason they decided to put some messages and gifts in different places?????? Like wtf. I heard their are new skins?? And yeah the jumpscares are still weak. I don't think it's still that great enough to buy I'm not sure. Who knows how many it'll take to fully fix this piece of shit

I’m with you and it’s sad to see. Steel wool may look like they have passion to push future products of FNAF fashion but it’s just that, pushing products. Forget how it plays just get it out the door.

@@mysticowlmandoesstuff Yes I mentioned that Kena Bridge of Spirits which is also created by an indie studio is optimized and runs better than Security Breach on ps4. Steel Wool can try to hide behind the fact that they are an indie studio but in reality that is not the reason the game was a flop.

It’s such a sad display of a game. PS5 and PC have a have decent time but they completely neglected PS4 and that just shows how much this company cares about support for the community on what they release.

@@Gribbon1020 i agree, I played on PC & it was horrible , I have a really good computer that can handle triple A titles fine & it was shockingly horrible. So I’m just imaging what ps4 users went through. I don’t know much about steel wool but they took on a project that they definitely shouldn’t have as it was way to ambitious for them in my opinion.

If this is the best they could I’m not impressed. The constant updates just show how much the game truly is in disarray and for every step forward with an update is screwing up other things that were fixed in previous patches. If they cared so much you’d think the game would of been in better shape before they released it. For the game to be so big only for the story to be what it is was probably the biggest disappointment of it all. The Xbox people and switch people are becoming impatient waiting for their port of the game but their main focus is switching to DLC and just making the game work like it should. Good luck with FNAF from here, I’m done. I just think the community deserved better.

If you own the proper hardware you can play it correctly but sucks for the people that rely on console hardware cause they can’t change that. Steel Wool dropped the ball hard on this

I did Monty’s golf first so all I had to deal with is the lag spike for the boss fight but I will say doing Chica after 6 am is a complete nightmare with dying and having to do all the steps back to her fight. It’s so horrendous I don’t know how people can defend it.

@@Gribbon1020 It's highly disappointing and I'm not sure if you had said it or someone that I watched when it came to this game's release - it should've been seen a mile away that this was gonna be a dumpster fire the way they treated the VR game. There's only minute hope that if and when this DLC comes out (though too late for it imo) that they'll patch over a lot of things. Doubtful, but ya know.

@@Gribbon1020Shows that they never fully abandoned it. They made it a complete edition so when you buy the game you get both HW and the Dreadbear DLC, and the best part you only have to pay $10 if you already bought the PS4 version, and they patched up a lot of bugs.

Even if it was working at launch the way it was supposed to the game feels generic. FNAF pretty much defines sit and survive but it’s going into first person survive, that has already been perfected by so many others. So with those games they have material to pull inspiration from right? What we got is this, that feels like a knock off version of a game that’s $5 and sold near checkout lines in Walmart where grandma picks up the last minute birthday gift.

I would be highly interested in TJOC remaster. As far as FNAF I’ll come back when Scott does or when the games are extremely discounted. I heard about the 8/16 bit game which sounds interesting but not enough to make me change course.

@@Gribbon1020 yea I’m not gonna lie, I would love to see an official fnaf game that has a similar style to The Joy Of Creation. ( I know TJOC is basically an official game at this point but I mean in the fnaf timeline.) I think that would be cool depending on the execution.

Well it’s coming pretty close to a year after release, with DLC on the way and the main game still isn’t where it should be. If we’re here still 30% needing fixed fnaf is really in trouble. Edit: actually it’s been over a year going to a year and a half. Yea fnaf is in trouble.

I’m not sure how the upgrade process works from PS4 to PS5 with games. It says upgrade to ps5 available but I’m not sure if that gives you the PS5 version or ability just to play it on PS5

I run on a regular PS4 so I can’t speak for the pro.

Hard to tell. My honest opinion I might not hate it as much as I do but I still wouldn’t love it. It’s just a clone of all of the first person run and hide games that came before but offers nothing new to the equation. If it had all of the quality of life updates and ran like it should have it doesn’t even break the barrier of mediocre.

This game is going to need fixing well into next year. How it was able to release in its state is beyond me

I wanted this so bad to be something special maybe even a little more than most since I make a ton of content about FNAF and it gives me something to talk about. For it to be a dumpster fire really makes me sad

Steel wool just completely left the PS4 version to rot. Definitely didn’t beta test the stupid thing, 4 months later and could still give a shit apparently.

@@Gribbon1020 ok dont know then but i did record the game before april 1st and i only own the physical edition for the ps4. Tbh i didnt really look at the animations on the screens that much but the other bugs i either didnt had or didnt notice (but the bug with that one fredbear arcade might have been there because i stopped looking at the arcades as soon as roxy killed me non stop in the superstarcade)

@@CallOfTheDragon885 I do support FNAF, what I don’t support is trying to make sales over the quality of product. Being a fan of the franchise is the reason why I don’t agree with people being so accepting of a less than mediocre product paved with good intentions. What people are forgetting is Help Wanted has bugs that have never been fixed years later and most likely won’t be because they’re still fixing their newest product they just forced out the door. When you buy a refrigerator you expect it to keep your items cool or frozen all the time, not constantly having to call a repair man out to fix it and by the time he’s done it’s still not fixed because it’s a defective product. I get your optimistic about the franchises future and I commend you for that. But take it from someone who’s been down this road before by companies that burnt me by blindly buying they’re game cause I love the franchise. You’re going to be let down at some point.

And I get that. PS5 should be better cause it’s more advanced. But if they’re going to neglect the ps4 version this badly why even bother releasing it? Sure you’ll have people mad about it but what’s worse? Cutting it cause they know it’s bad or releasing it knowing it’s bad just to make that money? SW is rotten for that.

@@Gribbon1020 That’s just Sony’s cheap way of getting people to buy their PS5, like there’s an Xbox version which is both One and Series X in one disc. I don’t believe that Fnaf Security breach is the only one, but I feel that Kao the Kangaroo might be the same, I could be wrong.

@@Gribbon1020 There not neglecting the PS4 version, also I 💯 this version and it’s playable, they added a animation for the party bot to leave after giving them the party pass, they fixed the already open gifts look not opened, and to prevent the game unloading the game would freeze to load in the graphics so yeah Gribbon most of the big PS4 problems have been fixed.

The characters are fine. The only character I’m not a huge fan of is Monty but can appreciate him as he’s really the only animatronic aggressive by nature and not game mechanic aggressive.

To be honest I don’t blame you. After SB dropped it really made me contemplate continuing content on FNAF and it’s time to move on. I’ll still help if people request it but doing anything new with FNAF I’m pretty much over it. Only thing that can revitalize my love is FNAF Plus but even then that will only carry so far. I enjoyed the time I had with it and will remember the good times

This game murdered my love for this franchise not just because of the game sucking but the fans defending it. Sloppy launch leads to fans finger pointing at the players “it’s not the game it’s your hardware.” Overwhelming amounts of players prove otherwise but that’s ok because “they’re working on it.” 4 month later a physical is released, 4 months after that a collectors edition, this fall the Xbox version all while the original game still isn’t fucking fixed and people are still defending it. Hope fans will enjoy the dumpster fire that is FNAF from here. I’m done with it.

Just sounds like an excuse. PS4 can run multiple huge triple A title games like Elden Ring that came out after SB with zero issue but can’t run an indie title that is a fraction of the GB size. Just realize it was pushed out before it was finished. Steel Wool didn’t give two shits about the PS4 port.

I played the game to completion my guy. Did you not see that I got an ending? Or are you talking about the fact the game is so broken you thought I just glitched out and beat it in 2 minutes like speed runners have been doing?
