There's a simple reason why Undertale genocide run videos have more views than pacifist run videos. Pacifist runs are easy and rewarding, so people will play through that on their own. Genocide is more difficult and upsetting, so people seek out a Let's Play instead, so they can see the story without having to go through with killing everything themselves.

Part of the massive amount of genocide run views could possibly be the fact that people don't want to play it their self, for whatever reason; tainting their copy of the game, or just not wanting to go through with it.

Hunter Snider I trust Treesicle's integrity. And, in defense of Matt, FNAF is a theory gold mine, it keeps coming out with more content in short amounts of time, and I enjoy his FNAF theories. He did branch out between FNAF 4 and Sister Location, and hopefully he will continue to branch out.

With more children being raised on tv and video games, these games are the new fairy tales, letting children face the darkness and evil that can await them in our world that they will need to overcome. Important life lessons: FNaF: that the 'monsters under the bed and down the hall' can be survived if we persevere. Undertale: that choices are what shape our world, and have consequences. Both: that there is always more to the story, if we only care to listen, observe, and think.

This happened to me with both of these games and yes the devs are like fishermen we are the fish (wait wouldn't the game be the boat...) and I got hooked by both of them but I'm BASSed FNAF. But I'm still hooked by Toby and as the fish I think ill never escape... anyone else agree?

Treesicle around 4:13 when you started to play the waterfall theme from undertale I realized something that the music for all the main boss fights and areas in undertale make you feel emotion on a biological level and what I mean by that is that the waterfall theme makes you feel sad or enegmatic toriels theme makes you feel safe and secure I just wanted to get my two cents in

If purple guy(afton) is innocent explain why he made robots that eat kids (baby and fun time freddy) also on night 2 the map shows sister location is connected to all the buildings in fnaf 4 in the fake ending you can type in a code on a keypad on a wall and it turns on tv screens in game that show video footage of the rooms from fnaf 4 so this implies that the fnaf 4 nightmare animatronics are actually real AND they had a fredbear plush doll, and in its hands is a walkie talkie so they are also talking to the minigame kid and are making him think fredbear is talking to him your theory can't answer this i think he was already a serial killer and ennard was all the animatronics combined so a machine made to murder kids so Afton wasn't innocent but wasn't guilty for everything (but most of it)

I think I might have figured out something huge. What if mr.afton succeed putting his son back together. And in fnaf 4 his name is the crying child. My timeline is the fnaf games before the puppet was in the game. Then I fnaf 4 then sister location which means for me the crying child is the puppet.the music box is for calming him down and when you don't wind it he goes crazy and hunts for you . That's my theory.

Considering SpringTrap has basically just 1 attack, and can only use it in a dark, scary environment with lots of obstacles, otherwise he would just be running at AsGore for pretty much nothing, considering that AsGore has a shitton of attacks. Well, the True Pacifist Ending is certainly the best ending to Undertale, but it takes someone with both hardcore skills and a hardcore STOMACH to willfully undergo the emotional draining effect of playing the Genocide Run. So most people (myself included) were quite content to watch Jack play it, even if it meant being the subject of Flowey's mockery. Sans is scary!

In the silver eyes novel, there were scratches on Mr. Afton's body.... Is it possible that either A. The Springtrap suit didn't kill Afton, because Ennard already killed him. So maybe he's still running around? Or B. Ennard is killed in the Springlock Suit? The suit deactivated Ennard somehow? (Also, hi! Thanks for reading it, and I love your videos! :3)

I'm of the opinion that a lot of people just can't do the Genocide run themselves, and that's why those videos get more views than the Pacifist run does. I know I don't wanna do it. If I do, the ending to the Pacifist run is permanently ruined unless you reinstall the game. Besides that, Sans breaking the 4th wall, and the characters vaguely remembering you through every reset, kind of makes me feel bad for them, even though I know they're just programs. The way Toby Fox set it up, you feel like a shitty person if you reset a lot.

Thing is according to your timeline that supports your theory, Ennard was the one in the springtrap suit, but when he got killed during the last cutscene he began bleeding, which is something dead bodies and animatronics don't do. Also, isn't it weird how a dead body being carried around by an animatronic didn't rot when it should've?

I think one of the reasons people don't watch as much Undertale Pacifist Runs is because they can beat the game for themselves, while the Genocide Runs (or all of the FNaF games) are either too hard or scary to complete on their own. I would rather watch someone else try and struggle beating Undying or Sans, or get jump scare after jump scare until they get all three stars.

This is less of a question, but about your purple guy theory... is more something I wanted to know what you think You guys sort of used the book right? well, in the book it is poited more than once abou purple/afton being human “The rabbit looked back and forth from one to the other with those all too human eyes” “Charlie could see its eyes, its human eyes, and she was cold with terror.“ “Charlie reluctantly pressed her fingers to his neck to check for a pulse….“His pulse is normal,” Charlie reported.” I know the book is not 100% canon in the game, but I don't think Scott would make Purple a Human in the book and a animatronic in the game... do you think it changes too much your theory?

I think the reason genocide run playthroughs get more attention, is because people who already did pacifist want to see what happens but are afraid to do it, so they just sit there and watch. At least flowy calls them out on it.

in fnaf sister location, you play as the purple guy, (ik it's a stretch but stay with me) ennard takes over your body and Travels to the location the children started disappearing in. ennard then gets caught not wanting to go back. he found the closest suit which turns out it was the golden freddy suit. he killed the children because that's what they were programed to do. if they are alone.

I have 2 questions. 1: if ennard is made out of every animatronic`s endoskeleton (including fun time foxy) how does mangle exist afterwards ennard takes purplr guy`s body? 2: Do you say that no one would ever understand that the purple guy`s body was used by an animatronic? It is kinda strange to see a man with those strange looking eyes that are made out of plastic and metal and consider him as a normal guy. Furthermore I think that purple guy may had made and/or programmed baby because baby also looks like his daughter, green eyed and with the same hair.However it is said at the beginning of the game that someone explains the working of the animatronics to mr Afton ( AKA. purple guy ) but it may be his partener or something. Purple guy also did not let his daughter near the animatronic, which means that he knew it was dangerous. The girl only died when he was not there. By accident. Then he aborted the plan of killing kids or somewhat because he felt guilty for his daughter`s death and then, as you said, tried to communicate with her as we find out at the sister location.

I feel like ennard could be the puppet. One thing that makes me think it more is that in fnaf 2 when you see the puppet come out of the box and check the camera again, there is an endoskeleton right before you get jump scared. It's either standing there or coming for you through the vents. What if it's an early rendering of Ennard? And the puppets mask an early rendering of Ennard's mask

To paraphrase Jenna Moran, one of my favorite writers, the problem with labeling certain topics as "not for children" is that sometimes children _are_ forced to see the terrors of the world. Death. Violence. Abuse. Sexuality. Those are not things that happen only to adults. Quarantining children's media away from these topics both impoverishes culture and prevents children from understanding what is happening to them -- and yet, children's television shows are not allowed to have anyone even _say_ the word "die". So children consume media other than that which is specifically earmarked for them. How could they not?

The genocide run is a part of us all that we know we maybe subconsciously want, but would never want to carry out ourselves. That’s why the genocide play throughs are so popular compared to the pacifist run or neutral run. We know we’d (mostly) do the good things but there’s a part of all of us that secretly wants to see stuff like the genocide run. It’s just natural or morbid curiosity I guess

Why does no one ask the right questions? How is Baby even talking to us in the first place? She's not on the PA system. It is turned off when she talks to us the first time. Then when we enter Ballora's chamber Baby speaks clearly and quietly to us like she is right next to us. Whereas the automated instructor voice echos throughout the large chamber. It isn't until we remove her chip on the last night that she says "install it on your device so I can continue to talk to you"... So she wasn't speaking through that in the first place? Then how? Is she telepathic? Another thing no asks, What is banging on the top of the vent in night one? The map doesn't show any rooms above the vent. Spatially it is impossible unless Baby's little friends can phase through walls. There has to be more rooms not shown on the map. Finally, I don't care what anyone says. William Afton creates animatronics and they kill him and wear his skin as a disguise? Okay, that's a stretch but I can believe reasonable doubt because for the sake of story, it's science fiction. What I can't believe is that this purple guy then applied for a job at a pizzeria and killed children over the next couple months without anyone being the wiser. How does Enard keep the skin from decomposing? William Afton may very well be Purple Guy, but that doesn't mean he is an animatronic in a meat suit. Everyone is so desperate to draw false conclusions without conclusive evidence. And that is something Scott will never give us. As soon as we KNOW what is in the dark, the fear has no power over us. Seriously though, if anyone could answer that first question for me, I'd really appreciate it. It's been driving me crazy!
