The reason for Dr Golden,Origin Sonic and Mighty not being in the demo is that their jumpscares are being re-coded ;3(There's a video that shows Dr Goldens new jumpscare it's pretty sinister.
My question is why there would be nightmare variants of the toy animatronics, I mean they burned in the fire at SHPP location 3, how would they still be alive?
Also, the whole reason why we have all these animatronic clones and whatnot in both versions of Maniac Mania is because Dr Golden is basically training these clones to take over the world. During the events of Maniac Mania, Luigi is basically a test subject for Dr Golden to see how efficient the clones all are. He creates the clones with the Phantom Ruby, so it makes sense, tbh.
Because it's a demo version, when the DLC characters are not available yet, Besides, when the full version come out, They are playable in the full version

why would you need to change the character mechanics? just keep them the same mechanic from the original well except for balloon toad and phantom balloon toad
also why make the characters extremely agressive when their ai is at X? look man when their ai is basically at X it means that the're completely inactive not extremely agressive!
To make them more accurate to the game they originate from. Also, not only does Balloon Toad eventually kill you if everyone is at X, but it also takes the fun out of it.
