Fnatic have been watching to much of reddit! Here in the overtime of the first map of the Grand Final, they bought 4 AWPs and they all peeked apeX mid on dust2! Crazy stuff from the Swedes! Subscribe for more csgo videos
Agreed, I don't see anything special here why it should be some kind of meme at all. It was the last round of the first overtime half and buying 4 AWPs was rational predictable decision. Dunno what's so exciting here, pretty usual thing.
The best part about this was Envy had the map sealed up, fnatic won a string of rourds with the perfect comeback. I think it was 4 rounds in a row, lose 1 then reset Envy, 5 rounds in a row to make OT. And the momentum continued into easy OT win. Awesome round to put an exclamation mark on it, and awesome graffiti to pay tribute
Imo, fnatic plays consist of unpredictable strats and shenanigans that makes you love them more as a fan and hate them more as opponent. There's nothing to learn like Astralis here but this kinda play what makes them unstoppable. It just for me hard to breakdown, like whatever you do they be like "no" and it will not happen. I came to the scene late and I wish I was a fan in Fnatic era.
Few people understood this back then (at least you would think that from the comments). Flusha was always called a hacker but these guys were just insanely good and a pleasure to watch
They had the aim, and the attitude to do it. But nowadays it doesnt work anymore. This fnatic would get destroyed by 2022 navi, faze, or 2023 G2. I believe Peak xantares by himself could destroy them.
love how Pronax gets the kill onto apex and observer still switches to Olof reloading, as if it was his kill...because you know, Olof was more "cool" back then...:)))
