What size are the antiqued upholstery tacks you use? I really like them. I make snowmen as well but usually Wood burn in the eyes and the buttons. Yours look very cool. I’d like to have a go at doing some of those. Did you get them on eBay? Enjoyed the video very much. Thank you for posting.
Thanks for watching Jeanie, I get the tacks from ebay. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/100-X-UPHOLSTERY-CRAFT-NAILS-STUDS-TACKS-PINS-ANTIQUE-BRONZE-FREE-P-P/142038294915?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
Hi thanks for watching, I'm not sure what details you would need to make your own. They are quit simple, Just a turned piece of wood, you can make them any size you like and decorate as desired.
@@danny26barrow The template is just a very basic shape and far eaiser to make than the snowmen, I only made one as a rough guide and only used it on that first one, to keep all the snowmen individual I varied the shape of the hats & bodys.
Thanks for watching Pam but I'm not a turning tutor, all my videos are just my adventures in my workshop. Hope you have fun with your creations whatever they may be.
Thanks for watching Clive, you failed to notice this is not an instructional video but just my adventures in my workshop. I enjoyed my time making these snowmen and others enjoyed recieving them as gifts not to mention the vast majority of viewers also enjoyed watching this video.
