This song is portrayed so well. The fact Boyfriend sings first shows he’s so pissed he legitamately wants revenge, he doesn’t even give Afton a CHANCE to start the song. Afton, at first, is calm and collected, believing BF can’t hurt him or will be frightened by the Spring Bonnie suit. He moves calmly to not set off the Springlocks But as the song progresses and BF is shown to not be affected/phased, Afton starts to get a little panicked. By the time of the second verse, Afton goes into full panic, not even caring about the Springlocks as he moves frantically. BF, at this point, has realized Aftons weakness and starts singing faster and faster in an attempt to set off the springlocks, which works. I’m pretty sure Aftons mistake here was getting more and more panicked. Had he kept his cool like he had in the first half, he could’ve walked out unphased
Honestly, I love the sprite change, and just the song in general. Not only does BF get the first verse, but the way the song goes, it makes it sound like Afton is singing for his life. Just like how he was when he was confronted by the spirits in the FNAF 3 mini game.
@@opsoo2229 i honestly think differently afton is really singing for his life as he tries his best not to move too much, until the last half of the song where he goes full panic mode the springlocks also go off on the last part of the song with the immense amount of notes
i absolutely love the furious emotion 1:20 has, Afton has a long solo acting clumsy in a sort of way until Bf solos and shows his seriousness of anger that he has because of what Afton just did to him. or thats my perspective of it, at least
something I stole from somewhere else: Bf is pissed that he died (as shown in his right pose) so to get revenge he leads and sings a hard song to tire Afton out so he sweats. There’s even a part where he tries to sing an easy part, but bf just ignores it and goes fast. The speedy movement and the moisture from the sweat causes the spring locks to fail, killing him
This song is somehow perfect in both the context of FNF _and_ FNaF. BF is vengefully singing harder than ever before to get Afton's springlocks to fail.
No one talks about how 1:00 is such a good display of anger and fury from Afton. This is legit the best part of the song and the one I always come back to.
Nice touch that as BF sings faster, William struggles to keep up and the prolonged battle with William's panicked movements after drawing the knife forces the Springlocks to go off.
I really like CC BF's poses here, especially his left and right ones. They feel more lively than his normal ones. -Also did BF just flip Afton off in his right pose?-
It's also clear in the song itself Most fnf songs boyfriend parrots back what the opponent has done, however in this song the roles are reversed, afton has to parrot back what boyfriend did.
1:01 is where Afton expresses how annoyed he is with BF, and BF fights back with pure hatred at 1:20. You can tell that both of them are extremely mad. They both want the other to lose, so they can claim sweet victory. But Afton loses.

Afton was a normal ass man at the time so it's hard to buy how he was able to stuff him into a suit, but I still love the song. At least Bf does come back too
if bf was smart, he would be rap battling against afton to make him sweat, so the springlock malfunction would happen. or he's just eternally rap-hungry.
You know... I hate that the song is called 'You Can't'. I can almost guarantee that whenever I search for something about this, like 'everyone sings it' or just the instrumentals, Sonic.exe's 'You Can't Run' will be the majority of the results.
William was smart not moving much in the suit to not trigger the springlocks but in the middle song he basically killed himself in a panic cause he became a panican Anakin
Okay watching it again, I'm realizing How smooth the sprites are and then it goes into the choppy death animation is weird. It's kinda abrupt the style change from really well done sprites to the game accurate death
