I like to think that Metal Sonic's head is bopping along to the music, due to his eyes being on still, just my little head canon.

I love how Sonic.EXE seems to be more in control of the situation than the original version. He's not getting angry. He's having the time of his unlife.

I love how .exe says "it's just too much fun" almost like he literally can't help/stop himself from torturing people.

1:41 is probably the most unnerving laugh I’ve seen used in one of these songs. He genuinely sounds like he’s on cloud 9 and enjoying every second.

Wasn’t too big on the Too Slow remix personally, but this sounds absolutely incredible! Especially love the reference to Knuckles’ Chaotix (assuming that was intentional at least)! Looking hella forward to seeing how you end up topping Four-Way Fracture.

What I especially like about these songs is that this isn’t goofy ahh Xenophanes, this is a brand new EXE that’s genuinely serious about how he plays with victims

I do like how it feels like Xanthus doesn't actually care if he kills BF or not, he doesn't clash with GF at all in the song, and probably not even in the transition from "Let's Play" to this. There is a genuine lack of urgency in these songs, especially when compared to the official songs, unpopular opinion maybe but, "You Can't Run" felt almost a little like Xeno was trying a little too hard, meanwhile with this one feels more like if he ran into BF by honest accident while he was still in this little world. The 2 songs have 2 wildly different vibes to me, the best way I can describe it: You Can't Run: "Alright that's it I'm totally ending you right here, right now!! I am God!! I'm not supposed to lose!!!" I'm In Your Head: "Oh, it's you again, heh, alright wanna rap again for your soul? I actually got bars this time! Alright then, this is gonna be Fun, Let's have some fun!" Edit: Turns out his name is Xanthos, and I might as well respect the man by calling him by his proper name

Xanthus has become his own Sonic.exe at this point, but he also seems to be making actions similar to every other Sonic.exe out there with his appearance, music, and overall behavior. It's so intricate and fun! I love it!! Edit: It's also cool that he doesn't consider himself to be a god killing nonbelievers. He's just a king playing with his subjects and food alike. There's no rush, nor a large need to kill the little guy in front of him as soon as possible. He is confident in his powers.

I'm a big fan of Xanthus not just redoing the whole "graaahhh just die!!!!" thing that Xenophanes did. Xenophanes was bound by the jinx and the very fnf singy-songy no direct violence way of "fighting", and so he clearly got upset and started throwing everything he had at the player. Chasing the player into the forest, only to be stopped by some crappy demon shield stuff really did Xenophanes a massive injustice to just how powerful and hopeless he's suppose to make you feel and BE as a literal CREEPYPASTA. So I'm glad that Xanthus and Nominal's take on a reimagined Sonic.EXE is still entirely in control and doesn't slip ONCE until he's being betrayed by his zombified subjects and teamed up on with Majin, Pico and the Player as well. No control lost up until the odds completely 180 on him, a VERY commendable Xenophanes redo and honestly holds up as a redo of the original extremely well.

2:55 - 3:25 Holy crap, this part feels catchy-

The fact this song is called “I’m in your head” is semi spooking me...the song ain’t spooky but the phrase “I’m in your head” is spooky if you just hear that in the darkness of your room...

Kinda wish the nominal mixes sounded like the original songs as opposed to feeling like alternate versions but still these are completely on par with some of your best stuff! Great job nominal, happy ya still pushing through
