"we have so many people in this place, can't we get 5 guys" is literally what I (and a lot of others) say whenever I watch India in any sport that isn't Cricket/Hockey.
Then you haven't been paying attention to our athletes in javelin throw, badminton, tennis, weightlifting, wrestling, running, shooting, chess and probably a few more sports.
@@MS-vk9phlemme correct you here Badminton & Athletics are way more competitive than atleast basketball just because: 1) Multiple Categories 2) Individuality
I mean its mostly circumstances, Korea and denmark are relatively small yet they produce so many esports prodigies. As Long as the required infrastructure/gaming culture/possibilities arent there, there wont be as many who can compete in international level
@@MS-vk9ph just because they can't dunk, means they're not athletic? The flexibility, agility, speed and reaction time to play that sport competitively is ridiculous. Not to mention the stamina. Just because they're not the biggest or strongest doesn't mean they're any less of an athlete, they just specialize in other physical feats.
The only thing stopping an all Indian roster is the negative mentality and no support from family for the gaming community. Every middle class player from India is pressurised to complete the studies first and then make their family more financially stable only by working 9-5.
@@laxitrana2344 I'll not argue with you but just give me the stats for how much Indian gamers are making it in the scene. Moreover, no one knows any Indian Org and their roster other than GE and VIT.
Indias dont try to go for esports bcz esports orgs in India are too less. Most of the games dont even allow Indians to participate in eSports & the worst of all is Indian parents normally dont allow their kids to pursue career in Gaming
also one of the BIGGEST and I cannot stress it enough, Forsaken. He has DECIMATED indians Infront of the world stage. You ask any one about indian esports , the 1st thing that they will say is Forsaken. That player has set Indian esports back 100 years, so now no more big orgs tries to make teams in india (like optic did with forsaken in team).
@@Meverynoob yeah the problem is communication bcoz they pick player from random and think the will all communicate as good as top tier level and i think that mechanics is all same in the top level considering all the franchise team
its been 4 years since valorant launched im sure we got good players around but aint no one wanna experiment cause they are scared , in other countries esports org experiments with new player all the time , but in india they wont take chance they just wanna have players who are already famous or experienced.
LightningFast is actually somehow the best player on the team mechanically ngl. He is consistently on the upper side oh the leaderboards and has decent decision making. He might be the most impressive player (in terms of being better than expected) rn because my hopes were in the sewers after watching SkRossi...
Fraud k rossi got so many chances and he had like 1 good game, dude couldn't get out of his op and Jett crutch, he had texture playing kj to show us some gutter valorant plays from him
he is good ngl but idk he might seems too nervous... not just lightning fast but all of indian player. as far as i've seen indian player just doesn't have composure like other player have plus they seem didnt have the confident that is needed as a player... i do hope lightningfast is the answer for GE cuz it pains to see this org have been shit on since vct apac challangers. currently india is the only region that doesn't even have a representative to play in masters/champions (except lockin cuz every franchise team got their spot), im not even indian but bro it is pain to see GE man Lightningfast is far better than SKRossi tho lmao... he is improving rn, he even got his own highlight in Lotus and some crucial kills.
Skrossi did well given that he couldn’t practice much cause of visa issues and directly played from the do or die games He had the potential as we saw in his performance against GenG Talon DFM PRX Ge should have backed him
@@cybermdo1292 Yeah LightningFast is not very disciplined but I think its cuz he has an ENORMOUS amount of pressure on him being the only Indian player so its rough but he is still putting up decent numbers. I also think India will prb get better as a region in maybe like 3 years from now because Esport is still relatively new here (especially PC and Console) so as we progress more talent will start getting scouted and then developed eventually. Its not happening in these next couple of years though
@@misterme1134 Golu prolly also has a bad case of hero mindset, because his team performs horribly, there is an immense pressure on him to be the hero and backpack his team through the game. I hope that GE can rebuild the team around him (and maybe Russ?) and maybe even get a majority Indian roster
bro its not like we are not making it.its the status of our family mentality and they are not letting to get into esports dude. we know we are half of world population but mindset of our society are still in stone ages
@@satnerd7212 probably not alot but that wasn't your point that I disagreed with. I disagreed with you saying its not possible to make a living with esports when you can. Also according to Global news there are nearly 1000 players globaly making a living off LoL alone. So ye
I agree, instead of bringing experienced ppl from different countries they should pick up young indian talent, I have seen very promising players they just need to scout them out and build a team with them, their will be no language barrier and if they make it it would be very good for the whole of indian esports in general
they lack overall. Their ability to corporate with other people is non-existent. All they do is each every one of them want to call out shots, wants to be 'THAT GUY' and boy they suck.
icl, have not had a single good experience with indian players on sg asc/immo lobbies. absolute terrible players and terrible comms (the shit they say not the accent).
His opinion doesnt matter tbh. He surely have great experience of esports but situations here in India are not what they look like from the outside world. He might be of Indian origin but his knowledge of the country overview is too short. We still are a developing country and esports is still emerging right now here. Almost all the families dont want their kid to play gamers on PC because they still consider gaming as a waste of time. It'll take a few generations to make esports as popular and as promising as other physical/non physical sports . Mobile gaming is something which is very popular now and will always be in limelight in our country because not everyone can afford to have a PC but everyone has a phone in their home. We do have good Valorant Players in our country but consistency is what they all lack, inconsistency in aim, inconsistency in skills. I would love to have a team with all 5 indian players but idk if this is possible with what players we have right now. Teams in VCLSA arent performing that well, matches dont go that great and they dont seem to be that fun (except few). The outside orgs dont come to India looking for talent after what Forsaken did in CSGO so our reputation already is quite bad. I am expecting esports to grow more with a better pace after government has started highlighting it. Mobile gaming surely has gain a lot but I am still a little dicey about PC gaming.
GE really needs a team of scouts which can actually get players which can do serious damage in vct pacific , otherwise its just #GEFIGHTING without fighting
He is absolutely right tho we just need 5 players we gotta try alot with different players also alot of people here doesn't own a good gaming pc or internet mobile gaming is growing cause u get that at a really cheap price n anyone can play games like pubg here n get good at but pc you gonna need good laptop or monitor
i got an angry indian team mate yesterday he was bragging that he was plat and he in silver elo queue im silver 3, he was super toxic so i had to be racist. its not me its the game
As a Indian i know whats the problem, first of all India is actually a poor country we get our first pc at normally like 20yrs , and most of kids around 70% don't even get a pc in their life How we supposed to dominate in internationals and our government is totally shitt And our education system suckss too Most of parents think games goona destroy their kids life So they keep their kids 😊away from games
bro wth you talking around 30percent population are above the lower middle class line and theses people can definetly afford good pc and 30 percent of population is a lot considering our population
@@Tenz2346gIt's increasing nowadays with parents being tech Savy growing up and having a PC for their kids to use. But it's gonna take another generation before we consistently produce Gamers at that level from a young age.
we play JEE and UPSC video games over here (cricket one is kinda popular too). valo is still growing and we can see it will be good by the looks of mumbai servers. 🦅
E-sports in India is still far from getting acceptance by parents as their kids future. they have a huge role on decision making for their kids future/career. e-sports is getting recognition but there is still so much time before it become a norm.
There is nothing to "accept" here. Esport is not a career and even Valorant pays nothing to its players unless you win the championship (which doesn't count as regular income)
@@goochipoochie not unless you're in T1, Riot has minimum salary requirements for all franchising players. Just like regular sports, you wont make a lot of money in esports unless you play at the highest level. But even outside of being a player, there are a lot of jobs in the industry, from being broadcast talent to even match technicians
gaming ia growing here, but the population doesnt matter much because there are a small fraction of people who own a laptop/pc and play valorant so that's prolly why. still surprising theres not a single good player
Please Tell him About...BGMI,CODM,PUBG PC,CSGO, Pokemon Unite.. in all these games India is dominating all over the world..Godlike Esports Lost Final in Call of Duty Finals...Indians Bgmi teams like Soul,TSM,Synergy were dominating In PUBG....And these Fake Indians going in Canada and becoming cool by just playing Valorant..Just ignore these Retired Players and Focus on your Goals...#Indiaontop
lol no region other than Europe has been good at CS in a hot minute. Sadly, the only thing India is known for in CS is the word.exe incident. and bro, did you really just compare Valorant to Pokemon Unite? Dog, India is good at t2-t3 mobile esports. As much as I hate to admit it, the only real contribution we've made in T1 esports is through players like FNS. I still cant get over the fact that you said cod mobile and pokemon unite and thought you actually did something LMAO
ok stupid question but when did fns start identifying himself as indian bc i swear he used to say he wasnt indian and that hes from tanzania (and i know hes ethnically indian but he never called himself that right)
For sure he was born in Tanzania but his ethnicity is indian. He shared typical indian experiences throughout his life how he is no different than us. His dad watches cricket and supports india. Curry & fns both knows Virat kohli very well. He said he had same upbringing as any other indian around the world. So yeah he is indian like us. Fns once visited india when he was a kid and curry shared he visited india once every year throughout his life.
Theres alot of people in India but I think the number of people with access to a decent computer, let alone a gaming computer maybe as low as 5% of entire population.
@@sourishghosh8958 atleast 2 million people would be playing valorant ,with around 10k people who actually play good. And its not even a problem of how many people play valorant. People just dont put any efforts here
send this to the owner of global cause he doesn’t know what tf he’s doing with the roster. I admit to my roots being an indian i troll GE more than any other because they are just lets say “shit”.In another multiverse i would unconditionally support them if it was a full indian roster even if they keep losing.
Im actually surprised there even is an Indian team. Mumbai server sounded like a shithole, i dont think there's any comms, just random people shooting and cursing each other. I guess "Microsoft" technician is a better option.
@@bryanamb4302 it's not even close so to do sarcasm about it is so lame also by the tone of his speaking it didn't seem like sarcasm lol stop meatglazing
Same situation with chinese football, why cant they get a team of world class players out of a billion population, football itself not being popular in china is a big thing but also because the system to foster the talent isnt there. The messi of china probably hasnt touched a football in his life. Same with this situation, the tenz, the aspas, the demon1 etc of india probably hasnt touched valorant once
I think it is mainly because not many people in india play pc games, most people I meet play some battle royale on their mobile and call themselves gamers...I just call them "gay"mers
Agreed Maybe I'll love to support full Indian roaster till 2/3years 🇮🇳 with no achievement in past cause that may help in commns even VLT IGL Anuj Bhai said it that crystal clear commns are imp. Anyways I agree with fns line "Can't We Get 5 Indian players and make a team" instead of going globally and making 1 anyways #GEFighting🇮🇳👍🏻 anyways will support cause it's Indian org and team but #PRX❤️SEN✨ favourites
multiple layers here: 1) Huge population but the number of Valorant players are less compared to the NA and EU regions 2) We don't have good or designated scouts that pick up potential players 3) Global Esports is the only Indian team in franchising and Rushi prefers a "Global Team" 4) Orgs aren't nurturing talent well, which matters a lot. Look at how teams like Loud and Fnatic brought new players and they instantly seemed better
That doesn't matter, individually impact of every Indian player or most of the indian pros are way less. Even if the orgs are to be blamed, they cant make miracles if the players are bad themselves
@@herogaming6906 that comes back to point 1,2 and 4. Becoming a gamer is looked down upon in India, and doesnt really pay well unless you join the top 1% of orgs. And many of the past top players in Valorant had amazing coaches and IGLs to back them up.
bro as a indian first of all we have team but the thing is the org are not investing for valorant all they focus on pubg trash mobile game we have like 20 to 30 orgs but they all are washed up and focusing on stupid pubg mobile recently only 1 team has play cod mobile tournament form india only 1 and in india without politics influence you cant join as a pro thats how bad or worst the gaming community in india we have infact we dont have any gaming community all we have pubg indian version community thats it.
In October 13 2018 China Played a Friendly match against India and it ended 0-0, almost 3 billion people and they couldn't find a single person to score
Russ grew up in Britain lol, and he made it with a European roster. Thats the same thing as saying India won a masters cuz of FNS. And lockin was an invitational, going there means literally nothing. thats why fns specifically said 'masters'
to much trash talk in mumbai server... most people play from laptop in this server......... to much trash talk in mumbai server... most people play from laptop in this server.........
i agree that there is to much trash talk in mumbai server. and apparently most people play from laptop in this server..... i agree that there is to much trash talk in mumbai server. and apparently most people play from laptop in this server.....
Half the world population so 3.5 billion people. Looks like FNS skipped education. Dude knows nothing about gaming scene here and is giving his judgement. The esports industry in India is still growing and there are not many orgs willing to invest in pc games because the prize pool is just not that big and finding sponsors is not easy as compared to mobile games. Good player can't pursue a career in gaming because of it's instability.
@@herogaming6906 listen half the people posting are butthurt and can't understand that he's making a point about there not being a cohesive indian team even with all the talent. they really out here thinking that fns, arguably one of the best optic and nrg igls lacks education. indian jabronis posting couldn't igl their preschool cousins let alone an iron lobby in valorant.
Lol why doesn't he try to start an Indian team, its ez for him to say coz he got a chance where esports ws valued, its ez to downgrade a region bt remember dota 2 2022. 5 players made the world stfu
bro is so butthurt for no reason. ppl like you are why no one likes us man chill tf out. and qualifying for an international event ONCE is not the flex you think it is
Population debate is so ridiculous cuz most of the country cant afford to play valorant forget at an international level. Compare that to the gaming population of well off countries India is definitely smaller in that terms. Same cant be said about football and other sports though.
