I agree with that take honeslty, especially asuna, for some reason I believe the only reason he is kept is because of his popularity/viewership and his ability to flex but besides that I believe that there are tier 2 players better than him (he mainly plays sky, raze and rare occasion yoru , and honestly I feel like you could find better players for those roles). When it comes to cryo I feel like pujs take is exactly why he is rated so high and also because of yay. I feel like yay playing well and the cryo doing similarly well made cryo feel like younger yay almost, and he could be played with a lower salery since cryo really does not have any hardware to his name. Only player on 100t to me that is consistent and honestly one of the better controllers in the game is bang.

Demons the powerhouse but Loud Less is super consistent and always puts out an amazing performance that benefits the team

i agree with him is the sense that most obvious players everyone pick when you talk “best in the world” is always gonna be jett players, but players who drop consistent numbers while not baiting or throwing away lives like alfa, leo, Com etc. those players are so much more valuable but fly so much more under the radar when it comes to those type of conversations

FNS's take on 100T is 100% on point. Also NRG had huge expectations because they came with that legacy of optics/envy core, and I think it was well deserved. I just think that they had a bad 2023. I don't really believe that NRG was overrated. Agreed with his pick of Leo being the best player. I think Leo is fantastic!

Agreed honestly, chamber inflated cryo’s expectations so much and I’ve truly never been wowed by Asuna since he stopped playing Reyna on icebox. They’re still good players but imo they should’ve never been in conversations that they were in because they haven’t done anything or enough to be in those conversations… I truly think “Tenz being overrated” only comes from the fact that people are used to players in Esports having big brands solely because “people declare them to be one of the best” (like s1mple in CS or Hal in Apex) and with Tenz, that’s not the case because he was already the biggest brand in Val on c9 before he became the best player in the world. Hence after he’s no longer the best, his brand won’t die because that’s not what built his brand from the get-go. Outsider see the biggest numbers and think “he must be the best to get those numbers” and when he doesn’t meet that outside expectation, outsiders shout overrated. Like they said, he already proven that he was the best at some point so he deserves the praises he got for that.

Honestly feel like the entire X-set roster was overrated. they were good but never really had any amazing results. Zekken has always been cracked though. They beat Optic in that one match but other than that they were pretty mid.

The community hypes random people up based on 1 or 2 good games and then put out all these expectations just to absolutely shit on them the moment they don't live up to them. It's alright to make expectations, it's alright to want someone to be the next great player BUT what's not alright is flaming them afterwards just because YOU had these expectations of them. People put words in other peoples mouthes and try to make it seem like they said it. It's twisted, toxic and mentally draining for the targeted players. I think tenz is definitely overrated but not because he is bad just because people put him on the same level as aspas,demon1,derke etc. Aim wise tenz is up there for sure but he doesn’t have the same game sense as the top top players. I do see potential in him going back to the top because raw skill he is insane. Thats why he dominated the first year of valorant where strategies were still new and nobody understood the game to the level they do today. He kinda fell behind in that sense.

Demon1 doesnt have the longterm results like leo and alfa but he's still probably the best. Was best player on eg since the first month he played for them and plays jett, chamber, astra, and brim, and not just good on duelist.

Asuna didn't have a bad year though.. He had a lot of crucial rounds that won them games. He did play bad at the recent red bull tourney.. But that was most of the team as well. I'll have to wait and see how their actual team does this year. I think adding boostio is a different pace then 100T is used to.. (Which is good) Because their pacing and strats in the past were terrible. ( I also think MIKEHD is a overrated coach, he doesn't have what it takes to push 100T to a trophy.) - Also, I don't think Asunas playstyle is flex.. He's too much of an explosive player. When he was on jett/duelists. He was getting 2/3 kills entering a lot of the times.

Hot take Yay had the same Chamber affect as Cryo, absolutely dominated on Chamber and everyone called him the best player in the world. but prior to that when he was a Jett player everyone knew he was an amazing player but there are better options for a Jett player. Just shows how agent balance affects player rating.

Demon1 is currently the best player by far. I think after him it goes Alfa, Leo, Less, and something or Derke. Those 4 are pretty interchangeable, but you can’t deny demon1 is the best in the world after the year he had. This is my current list not all time.
