@@bunga4354 first of all, I'm from the Philippines and majority of the people here DID NOT CARE about Zekken, it was either TenZ (because for some reasons Kyedae is super popular in the Philippines and because of bandwagon), or GEN.G supporters (first Pacific winners). I tell you this right now, 90% of the people saying "Pinoy Pride" are people who JUST found out that Zekken has Filipino blood in him, and 60% of the people who says that DID NOT even watch VCT or even play Valorant. EDIT: literally no one except for the people who were watching the matches CARED about Zekken's existence not until winning the champions and finding out that Zekken has Filipino blood, MOST people here are spamming "Pinoy Pride" just to join in the bandwagon but when you ask them what happened in the matches they legit have NO idea. - highlight word "MOST", I'm not generalizing everyone because there are people out there who feels pride out of this.
Props to all of them. They all played their role to perfection today. Props to Zekken, Tenz, and Sacy for sticking with Sen through the rough patches and building their synergy. And of course props to John for stepping up massively with leading his team strategically. And props to Zellsis for keeping everyone’s energy level up and proving his doubters wrong. Valorant is an extremely mental game, specially at this level. It's something that wins or lose you matches. Zellsis has that in spades. His mental and how he carries his team's mental was pretty key
fr this game is not just about strats, aim, sense, micro and macro. basically everyone is in the same level. it all comes down to who has the better confidence and morale to triumph.
The only thing I disagree is about Zellsis. Bro has always been one of the if not the best player on every roster he's been on, he's absolutely owned and always had it slip. So nice to see him finally get his chip
Zellsis skill wise is one of the best, but his career was mid. His last international stage was also Reykjavik in 2021. And then he just never went to any international stage again. He stayed with V1, went to Sen with LCQ, and left for C9. C9 almost looked promising then they just failed when it matters. This is the first time in his career that he actually takes a big one, where all the hard work finally succeeds.
This was a great way of Tenz proving everyone wrong. TenZ was literally there when Sen was at it's highest and lowest. It's kind of inspiring, him staying on Sen for 4 years and not winning in 2 of those years, other stars would have left but he stayed. Props to him for sacrificing as much as he had these last 2 years.
He’s almost like the Faker of T1. Been with his team despite the highs and lows. Just needs to prove himself for years to come and it might be an accurate comparison.
Hes right. The synergy Sen has is so rare. It's what Fanatic, Optic and EG (last years team) had. GenG played like incredibly well but it was great to see the best team win
not saying they wont, but it will be breally hard. and i cant wait to see everyones performances in those tourneys. the teams will be different, the matches will be purely insane. GGs to SEN.

Yeh Zellsis really carried map 5! Top fragging on KJ. Honestly, the thing that's awesome about Zellsis is his enthusiam and positivity for the team. He's always celebrating hard, congratilating the team, fist bumping. From my experience in competitions (outside esports), having a guy that never succumbs to the stress and always 100% believes in the team helps the team stay focused and not nervous

bo3 you can chalk it down to individual performances and win comfortably but when its bo5 and you dont sweep 3 0 the pressure on stage will slowly get you and geng crumbled that last map
so glad to see tenz back at the top, but credits to every single member of the team. also i feel johnqt is not getting enough recognition, the power an IGL can bring to the game - of course, it seems like he's fine standing behind the limelight and let the team take more of it, but he's a critical piece of the puzzle!

Kind of not what he was talking about. Xset won NA regionals, but they lost to Optic twice in masters copenhagen and champs 2022. So what FNS was saying is that xset lost to him twice at international stage (where it matters). Props to zekken for continuing the grind and winning it all!
Sure they can switch pan with Jordan. But the energy you get from Jordan is so unmatched I swear if he wasn’t in that team they lose 3-1 in finals. Sometimes that energy is all you need. Momentum is so crucial
Maybe I'm overanalyzing what he meant. But Zellsis being mid his whole career is false af imo. Placings wise I guess you can say that. But every team he joins looks amazing at one point or another.. And he has made tons of great plays for all those teams. He has been consistently very very good.
He is saying as a banter or joke since FNS and Zellsis tend to have friendly trash talk with each other I don't think he literally means he was mid as a player.
I don’t think Zellsis has been mid. Just feel he never found the right balance with the squad he was on. Here he was finally able to find his rhythm and his place with the squad. Map 5 he was the only one on both squads who showed how much he wanted that chip and he put up his best performance yet. Mechanically the team looked just one step below GG apart from Zekken who kept Sen in the game but Map 5 everyone hit their peak and GG completely shut down. They had no answers and no motivation to play out. Sentinels are worthy winners but so were GG. Overall this Masters was a great tournament def top 3 tourney ever held for Valorant.

@@azncoltz Sentinel call him their star player for a reason. He is one of the best duelists in the world. It's not all about the kills, but the impact of those kills. The team synergy of current SEN is insane tho.
Ill say I have to apologise to zellsis, he literally never impressed me, every team he was on I thought he was average at best. When he joined sentinels I was like this is a clear downgrade from pancada. sorry zellsis, clearly I was not familiar with your game
He's not playing on a role where he's expected to massively frag out anymore and yet he still gets multikill rounds every map, and has the second most kills in the server, and at the same time all of his smokes are perfect, and his flash utility is impeccable- literally 54 assists in this bo5. I don't think we've seen anyone other than Ethan on EG put numbers up like that as a supportive player - you just can't tell when a player is being mega impactful. Same thing with Sacy when people say he's bad or should be dropped after he goes negative when he's actually winning a shit ton of rounds from impact kills, absurd clutches, perfect positioning and util - and even then sometimes he top frags
Same with Lakia too like he's had maps where he has like single digit kills but Gen G still wins, Lakia is still having great impact there, you can't win a 4v5
