I wonder what our brave rebels would think, having their lament sung by these two lovely performers from the other side of the world. I've often thought of South Korea as the Ireland of Asia; divided, a tiny speck between aggressive empires, but determined to survive against all odds. Íontach ar fad! Well done :)
@@LancerIHR It took the Mongols 40 years to conquer Korea and then their rule died in less than a century. A Goryeo army then defeated a Mongol expedition. The Chinese have never been able to conquer Korea. You must be thinking of the Qing who conquered the Han Chinese Ming dynasty and left Korea as a Zongfan. That gave them domestic autonomy and made them more of a protectorate than a vassal. They were never as pathetic as the Irish being fully conquered for 300 years.
I used to love playing this on my tin whistle with my school orchestra. We were ment to go to the national concert hall before covid, bings back so many memories
oh my god I've had that song on repeat in a medieval themed playlist of mine and never knew it was actually a covered well known song. Your version of this is amazingly beautiful. Thank you very much.
This clip proves that you don't need a big studio to make a great video. A park bench is enough. Only the car noises and the barking dog in the background spoil the enjoyment of the music a little.
