How do you determine what size of foil to use? Do all the foils support a varied amount of rider weight? Really curious how board selection and foil combinations interact with rider weight and skill level. Next podcast idea?

How long does it take to set this up? Moving multiple vehicles 6 miles up and down the coast is going to take serious time.

It's called 'running shuttle' where I'm from. You leave one vehicle at the take out and then everyone piles into another vehicle with all their gear and drive to the put in. Then when your finished you shuttle someone back to the put in to pick up their vehicle. If you're lucky you have a 'shuttle bunny' that drives everyone up to the put in and then drives back to the take out.

Are foil boards and their equipment much heavier than the surf boards you like to use? Might be a complex question because I know y'all use a large variety of boards....

@@oliewray8357 thanks - I'd have no idea. I can barely carry 40 lbs....but some of my metal nunchucks are very heavy and some are extremely light....I never know what kind of material they're using or how advanced they are....anyways, thanks for the heads up :)
