As always, Zin, superb work! 👍👍 Pity about the landing gear, but that's not on you. Yes, I re-learned very early on to leave the pitots and antennae off until the end... For cammo, I often use play putty (like Silly Putty) to mask instead of tape -- I find it's much easier.
Dear Steve, That’s very kind of you sir. I must say that I was irked by the undercarriage. The whole thing went together very nicely besides not being able to see the engine upgrades! I am pleased with the results! Best regards, Z
@@ZinzanModelling That's all that matters, Zin. Y'know, I've seen some people raving about Hasegawa quality and detail, but I've also noticed they fall down a bit with things like that...
Zin, I must say, I was briefly flummoxed at seeing the RAF roundels on an FW-190, until I remembered about the post-war testing of captured aircraft (just about the time your narrative was explaining the situation). Very nice looking completed build. Shame about the fragility of the undercarriage components which requires extra-special care in the handling.
Dear Tron, Thanks very much- I thought that this would be a rare interpretation of this favourite. I am pleased with how it turned out- I just won’t move it much! Regards, Z
The FW looks very striking in those colours and markings, Zin. I love how your weathering of the yellow belly of the model turned out. 😍 I can’t remember at the moment but is that the kit you bought from Nige?
Dear Ronald, Thanks very much- this is the kit I bought from Nigel and I forgot to mention him. I must remedy that. I feel that I am improving in the “wear and tear” department- the new materials we can get these days certainly help! Regards, Z
